Shimokitazawa Station
- We will meet at the East Exit of Shimokitazawa Station (Odakyu Odawara and the Keio Inokashira lines). After your booking, I will send you a photo of the exact meeting spot. Here, we will introduce ourselves, get to know each other, and I will tailor the tour to your preferences. I will organize the route based on the stores and places you’d like to visit.
We will start the tour with a walk through second-hand clothing shops. Shimokitazawa is famous for its bargains, where you can find affordable, high-quality clothes.
We will visit some of the best shops together, and I’ll provide tips on quality and pricing.
You’ll especially get to see: New York Joe Exchange, Treasure Factory, Stick Out, Chicago Shimokitazawa, Kinji Used Clothing, and more.
If you prefer modern Japanese brand clothing, we’ll explore second-hand shops offering items from the latest collections. You’ll find high-quality apparel at great prices from the most popular Japanese brands.
We’ll visit Disk Union, a must-see for music enthusiasts. Here, you’ll find an extensive collection of vinyl, CDs, and other music-related items. It’s the perfect place to discover new artists or find rare pieces to add to your collection. Alternatively, we can check out other music stores like Flash Disk Ranch or Disc Shop Zero.
----
For those not interested in shopping, we can quickly browse the shops and head to Hachiman Jinja, a peaceful shrine in the heart of Shimokitazawa. It’s the perfect spot to relax, take a walk, and experience a more spiritual side of Tokyo.
Another option is to visit Bonus Track –
Bonus Track is a unique area in Shimokitazawa that blends traditional Japanese elements with European influences, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a Scandinavian suburb. Located a short walk from Shimokitazawa Station, this space harmonizes beautifully with the neighborhood's renewal. While it’s not a typical tourist spot, it’s very welcoming to foreigners.
To end the tour on a special note, we can stop by a hidden café in the neighborhood. Here, you can enjoy homemade desserts and relax while reflecting on the day and the places we visited.
