Meiji Shrine, Harajuku
Meiji Shrine is the most famous historical Shinto shrine in Tokyo. Walking through the forest with a solemn atmosphere in the precinct, you see Sake barrels, huge Torii gates and other cultural structures. In front of the main hall you learn how people pray.
After the visit of Meiji Shrine, you are shown Takeshita Street with food and reasonable cloth shops and Omotesando Street with brand shops and restaurants in Harajuku, and you find the way to Shibuya so you can come back to enjoy shopping by yourselves in your leisure time.
Imperial Palace East Garden
This is a typical Japanese garden with good-shaped pine trees pruned severel times a year and flowers in the season. When entering an old gate, you see stone walls and feel the atmosphere of Samurai time because this is the former Edo Castle site. The East Garden is open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. On Monday and Friday, you are brought to Nijubashi double bridge and pine-tree covered outer garden of Imperial Palace.
Sensoji Temple
Sensoji Temple was originally built in 628 and flourished in Edo Samurai period (1603-1868). You walk through Nakamise Street leading to the main hall that is always busy and excited with about 100 food and souvenir shops. At the entrance of the street, you see "Kaminarimon" or thunder gate and learn its cultural and historical aspects.
Asakusa
You end the tour at Senso-ji Temple and enjoy strolling around in Asakusa area by yourselves.
Your guide provide information about the way to your hotel. If you want to come back to your hotel by 1:00pm, please consult with your guide.

To extend your tour, we take one-hour free time for lunch. You can have an assistance of your guide for finding a good restaurant or join her lunch.
When you'd like to skip your lunch, you have one-hour free time, and you start your guided tour at 2:00pm.

You can choose to go anywhere you like. Your guide arrange the tour for you.

Exploring Hakone
Hakone is one of the famous popular hot spring resorts in Japan, that is not far from Tokyo. You enjoy Hakone's beautiful nature including Lake Ashi, valleys and mountains. For your extended tour, it is possible to soak yourselves and relax in a natural hot spring bath "Onsen." It's convenient and efficient to take the Ashi cruise, ropeway, cable car, mountain train and bus with Hakone one-day Pass (5000JPY).
One-day Excursion to Mt. Fuji Area (from Tokyo)
