Mt. Fuji, Five Lakes and Oshino Hakkai are registered as UNESCO's World Heritage sites. In this tour, you can be relaxed in the beautiful nature in Fuji area, enjoy views from Lake Kawaguchi, and take pictures of Mt. Fuji and the red pagoda together at Asakura Sengen Shrine. The view of Mt. Fuji is fantastic if the weather permits.

You purchase you and your guide's bus return tickets, about 4400 /person (It is slightly different depending on the place you visit).
For our outgoing bus, I will book one departing at 8:20.
If you like to stat later, please let me know. The starting time depends on you, but it will be better to start earlier.
Pick-up service is provided (3000JPY of payment on the spot). If you need it, consult your guide in advance. Your meeting time at your hotel will be informed.
Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama mountain
You will arrive at Shimoyoshida stop around 10:50.
We have about one hour for hiking, taking pictures, visiting the shrine in the Arakurayama park.
Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama park is the most famous scenic site among my guests. You see the red pagoda and Mt. Fuji at the same time and learn Japanese culture, and history of the shrine there. It is about 15 minute-hike up to Chureito pagoda on the steps or slopes and you enjoy taking pictures at higher places. Mt Fuji is beautiful when the weather allows.
①Ohishi Flower Park, Lunch
This is a recommended itinerary when flowers are nice and views of Fuji is good. And there're nice restaurants and cafes.
Heading for Lake Kawaguchi by taxi (Going by train and bus takes longer time).
You enjoy wonderful sceneries of Mt. Fuji from the lakeside flower park when the weather allows.
②Lake Kawaguchi, Kimono Museum
Itchiku Kubota Kimono Museum is wonderful and nearby where you can see some gorgeous works made by the tie dye hand-made Kimono master, Itchiku Kubota. (It's closed on Tuesday) that are stored and displayed in an old Japanese style wood structure. You can also enjoy its beautiful garden with a pond.
The additional cost of entrance: 1500JPY /person
Kawaguchi station
An express bus takes us to Shinjuku directly, arriving around 6:30pm, depending on the traffic conditions.
Shinjuku Bus Terminal
End of the tour
Optional: Oshinohakkai Pond Area
Since the local buses don't come often, it is hard to visit 4 places in one day.
Instead ① and ②, you can choose to go to the Oshino-Hakkai pond area. That is in the village with eight ponds of natural springs. You take a taxi, which is an easier and faster way to get there.
The water is clear because it's flowing underground from Mt. Fuji. You can stroll around the ponds and along the river, and enjoy to have typical Japanese dishes for lunch and to see a
beautiful Japanese countryside.
From Oshino-hakkai, you take a direct bus to Shinjuku. The arrival time depends on the traffic.

“Excellent taste of Tokyo”
We only had a day in Tokyo after disembarking our cruise. We had a very enjoyable four hour excursion with Yuka. As we didn’t want to spend an hour of those four hours on the train we concentrated on seeing a few places in the West of the city. Yuka showed us how to use the ticket machines at the station which came in handy for later when we used them to go to the airport. She is a retired English teacher so has excellent English. She made our visit fun and informative and as we had no real preference of what we wanted to see, apart from the Shibuya Crossing, we were happy to go with her recommendations. Yuka took us to some of her favourite parts of Tokyo. Yoyogi Park, the Meiji Jingu and Takeshita Street to name a few. I would thoroughly recommend a tour with Yuka. Thank you

Thank you for your kind comment, Karen. I appreciate you chose me, joining Tokyo tour and inviting your friends from the cruise. I will remember you all for a good memory.

“Tokyo and Kyoto Tour”
Yuka made our first visit to Japan an experience we won’t forget. Yuka was very punctual everyday and well organised, I just told Yuka what sights we wanted to see and do and she made it happen, for a family of six it made our trip a relaxing time especially getting around on Japan’s very busy rail system. I would recommend Yuka for anyone visiting Tokyo for the first time.

“Yuka, the perfect guide!”
We spent a perfect day going to Kamakura and exploring shrines and temples with Yuka as our guide. Her knowledge of the town, the subject matter and her command of English made the day completely enjoyable!

Thank you for joining Kamakura tour and your kind fomments. It was fine in the morning, but became rainy and colder arourd noon. You must be tired walking in the rain. But I'm happy you enjoyed it.
