Shinjuku bus terminal departure area
I reserve our seats for the tour day by phone in advance.
You purchase you and your guide's bus return tickets, 4400 /person (It is slightly different depending on the place you visit).
For our outgoing bus, I will book one departing at 8:20.

Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama mountain
You will arrive at Shimoyoshida stop around 10:50.
We have about one hour for hiking, taking pictures, visiting the shrine in the Arakurayama park.
Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama park is the most famous scenic site among my guests. You see the red pagoda and Mt. Fuji at the same time and learn Japanese culture, and history of the shrine there. It is about 15 minute-hike up to Chureito pagoda on the steps or slopes and you enjoy taking pictures at higher places. Mt Fuji is beautiful when the weather allows.
Kimono Museum
Itchiku Kubota Kimono Museum is wonderful and nearby where you can see some gorgeous works made by the tie dye hand-made Kimono master, Itchiku Kubota. (It's closed on Tuesday) that are stored and displayed in an old Japanese style wood structure. You can also enjoy its beautiful garden with a pond.
The additional cost of entrance: 1500JPY /person
Optional: Oshinohakkai Pond Area
Instead of Kimono Museum, you can choose to go to the Oshino-Hakkai pond area by taxi. That is in the village with eight ponds of natural springs. You take a taxi, which is an easier and faster way to get there.
The water is clear because it's flowing underground from Mt. Fuji. You can stroll around the ponds and along the river, and enjoy to have typical Japanese dishes for lunch and to see a
beautiful Japanese countryside.
Lunch
You have lunch at a restaurant in the Lake Kawaguchi area or the Oshino Hakkai area.
Ohishi Flower Park
You see beautiful flowers at the lakeside and a nice view of Fuji when the weather is good.
Kawaguchi station
An express bus takes us to Shinjuku directly, arriving around 6:30pm, depending on the traffic conditions.

“tour of hakone”
Although we enjoyed seeing the highlights of Hakone - our guide did not add anything to the experience except to help us b navigate from one sight to another. I think touring Hakone does not need a guide and unfortunately our experience of a guided tour was expensive for simply having an experienced guide navigate for us but provide absolutely no input or information. a very expensive but no value tour.

I don't think Hakone tour is no value tour. Unfortunately on that day, you didn't see Mt. Fuji due to the weather and you were not satisfied with the tour, but this is a customized tour so you can visit any place you like and most of my guests are happy to go around with me and listen to explanations of Hakone's geography and history.

“Yuma’s review”
The tour group was a family of 6 adults. We found Yuka to be very nice and informative for each area we visited. She was patience and helpful to explain Japan’s history. Each person thought very highly of her organization and research of specific issues questioned.

“Fabulous day trip to Kamakura !”
What a wonderful day!. Yuka shared her favorite hidden gems and behind the scene spots in and around Kamakura! She was able to quickly switch up the schedule to adjust for crowds of students on field trips! She provided a great balance of culture and history. A good mix of walking and public transportation and a perfect lunch spot! I was able to do and see so much more than if I was trying the same schedule on my own. I highly recommend her. She listened to my areas of interest and tailored the day accordingly! I was so pleased!

One day tour to Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi
This is a trip to see the highest and most beautiful mountain in Japan, Mount Fuji and one of five lakes surrounding Mount Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi. Mount Fuji is an active stratovolcano that last erupted from 1707 to 1708. At 3776m meters, Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and its top and gentle slopes are surrounded by rich and unspoiled nature. The mountain attracts many climbers during summer, while in winter its snow-covered top and slope gleam pure white in the sun.
