I now work as an English translator and an interpreter at home, and my availability is very flexible.
I have been working for the business with American companies for many years and have many experiences guiding customers from all over the world, from Japan to the USA and Europe.
I lived in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for five years and loved to drive around Europe, the USA, and Japan.
I now have a national license as a guiding interpreter and want to introduce Japanese traditional culture to people worldwide who are interested in it.
I can be your guide in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kamakura for your enjoyable time in Japan.
“Atsushi, an excellent guide”
Atsushi is an excellent and knowledgeable guide, who is very fluent in English. In addition to guiding us through Tokyo, he gave us insides in the religious, economic, cultural and political life in Japan. The tour itself was very well structured: we saw the old and the new. We also liked very much the use of the metro to visit the different places. It gave us a good view of how the city functions. We highly recommend Atsushi!

(3 reviews)I could also enjoy my time with you. It is always my pleasure to meet people like you two with different cultural backgrounds, as I can learn a lot from that. If you can visit Japan, I want to be your guide again.

Let's explore the traditional and modern sides of Tokyo.
“Wonderful Experience”
We selected Atsushi as our guide and could not be happier. Having not been to Tokyo before and being from the US we could never have seen as much in 8 hours as we did with a local. Atsushi has very good English and has a very pleasant nature. He takes the time to explain the history and the local customs. I want to point out that he customized our day based on our preferences. For instance we wanted to have Ramen for lunch so he suggested a very nice lunch stop. We would hire him again and strongly encourage you to do so.

(3 reviews)Thank you very much for your appreciation. I just wanted you to know the background of Japanese culture, history, and people. I was also shocked by your extensive knowledge of Japanese history. Your visit to the Tokyo National Museum will be even more meaningful and insightful. I hope you thoroughly enjoy your stay in Tokyo.
“Japan Local Tour”
Atsushi was wonderful. He made the day very imformative and fun. I hope that we can meet up again to see more of Tokyo. Best George
