Meeting Point
At your hotel in Tokyo (inside 23 wards)
- I will pick you up at your hotel. Before leaving the hotel, we will briefly review our itinerary and transportation pass. And let's go!!!
Visit Tsukiji Fish market
A historic and vibrant seafood market, where you can experience a wide variety of authentic Japanese food materials. I will share the depth of Japanese cuisine while enjoying interacting with local store owners I am familiar with.
Visit Kabuki-za theater (outside the building)
Located in the neighborhood of the Tsukiji market, this theater is the main venue for traditional Kabuki stage performances. Its grand, historic-style architecture stands out in the modern Ginza district.
Visit Asakusa/ Senso-ji Temple
The east side of Tokyo, where we dive into the old downtown with the Senso-ji Temple. We can explore the historic and vibrant town along with many traditional shops and streets.
Lunch recommendation
I will take you to the local restaurant from many varieties according to your preference.
Visit Meiji Jingu Shrine
After taking a 35-mimute ride from the east side of Tokyo, we will vist the west side starting from a historic site. It is well known for its huge sacred forest and Shinto shrine.
Visit Harajuku/ Takeshita street
You might get overwhelmed after the serene Shinto shrine. Here just the other side of the forest is a vibrant district with trendy fashion, youth culture, and unique street style. You can find some cutting edge sweets and unique animal cafes along the street.
Visit Shibuya district (Shibuya crossing)
Let's experince the bustling crossing together! It also features numerous shopping malls and trendy shops.

“Lily Rocks”
We spent a wonderful day with Lily, a very kind and easy going person who was very knowledgeable, incredibly kind and such a pleasure to be with. For one of us it was the first time in Tokyo and Japan and she did a great job showing us around the city to some more traveled and popular places as well as some less known/less touristy places. She also introduced us to and helped us become familiar very quickly with the amazing transportation system. Her English is impeccable, as good as any native speaker and that for sure made our day even easier and more enjoyable. We would definitely love to tour with her agiain.

We had the pleasure of spending a full day with Lily -- our exceptional tour guide in Tokyo, and the experience was nothing short of fabulous. TOKYO Tour of your choices
If this is your first trip to Tokyo or your first time to have free time in Tokyo, I recommend visiting "three" major spots of your choice, I will show you the brief history of Japan from the Edo Period to the Meiji Period by explaining these spots. You can also enjoy shopping in this trip if you want, I want you to know two sides of Tokyo; historical side and modern side.
Tokyo City Walk(2) - Highlight of Western Tokyo (7 hours)
This tour covers main and major highlights in Western Tokyo, which is rather modern and urban places, including high rise commercial buildings, contemporary art places, subculture sites and entertainments.
One-Day Historic Tokyo and Sky Adventure (Tsukiji, Asakusa, Tokyo Skytree, Boat Cruise)
Enjoy shopping and spectacular view, and feel the atmosphere of Buddhism and Shinto! We will visit Tsukiji outer market and enjoy shopping and delicious sushi lunch. We also visit Namiyoke Shrine and Tsukiji Honganji Temple, which are the heart of Tsukiji people. From Hinode pier near Tsukiji we will take a boat to Asakusa. You can enjoy the view of Tokyo from a river. In Asakusa we will visit Kaminarimon Gate, Nakamise Shopping Street, Sensoji Temple, Asakusa Shrine, and Tokyo Skytree.
