Sensoji Temple in Asakusa
The history of the temple dates back to the 7th century, the oldest one in Tokyo. It's very popular for its main entrance gate with a giant red lantern, called Kaminai-mon Gate.
Imperial Palace East Garden
The Imperial Palace used to be Edo castle, the seat of Tokugawa feudal government, during the early 17th century to the mid- 19th century. You can see the remains of the huge castle and traditional Japanese style garden surrounded by moats and high stone walls.
Tsukiji Outer-Market
The best place to enjoy delicious sushi with a reasonable price in Tokyo. More than 400 shops and eateries of sea foods gathers in the district and always full of energy with visitors. If you prefer other foods, please let me know. There're various options for lunch in Tokyo.
Meiji Jingu Shrine
The shrine was dedicated to Emperor Meiji who ascended the throne in 1868 and transformed Japan from isolated feudal country into a modern nation. It was built in 1920 to commemorate his achivement. The shrine is surrounded by vast woods and an oasis in downtown Tokyo .
Shibuya Crossing
It’s located in front of Shibuya station and called world’s busiest intersection. People come from all directions at once, sometimes over several hundreds with every light change.

The transportation fare are about 1,500 yen per adult. Lunch fee in Tsukiji is about 1,500 to 5,000 yen per person.
Tour Important Information
1. The tour will be conducted except Mondays and Fridays when the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace are closed.
2.This is a tour enjoying walking around the sightseeing spots. You are recommended to wear shoes suitable for walking. We usually don't use tourist taxies.
3.If you have any food restrictions such as vegetarians, macrobiotics, gluten free, and no-fish, please let me know in advance to plan for your lunch.
4.The tour is not covered with any travel insurances. I'd recommend that you buy your own travel insurance in case of any unexpected accidents and losses. Of course, I'll do my best to keep you away from such accidents.
5. If you want to add other spots into the tour, please let me know one week before the tour.
6.The transportation fee is about 1,200 yen per adult which includes one-day subway ticket. Lunch fee in Tsukiji is about 1,500 to 5,000 yen per person.

“Enjoyable and informative tour”
I highly recommend a tour with Toru. His English is exceptional and his knowledge was vast. He was friendly, generous and found a vegetarian friendly cafe for us to eat at. “Wonderful Day Exploring Hakone with Toru”
One of there best guides we had in Japan. Toru was warm, insightful and attentive to our family of 6 as we explored Hakone and the surrounding area. He made sure we experienced the beauty and history of the region. Highlight of the day was an incredible meal at Itoh and a visit to the open air museum. Toru is unbelievable and highly highly recommended.
