“A true professional”
We were delighted to spend a day with Gonçalo in Lisboa. He picked us up promptly at our hotel as arranged and we spent the entire day learning and living in this great city. We had hit some of the more typical highlights on a different tour with a different guide a few days earlier, so Gonçalo was able to tailor our itinerary on-the-fly to give us more in-depth info and help us experience his city more fully. He paced our activities well and eagerly answered questions. We loved his recommendation for a post-tour neighborhood adventure at the local saint's festival. This was obviously not a "canned" presentation and he was always energetic with great concern for our comfort and enjoyment. He radiates love for and pride in Lisboa. We had an incredible time and can not recommend him enough. 10 stars!

“Great guide for our group of wine club members”
Joao was an incredible guide for our large group of 20 for two days around Lisbon and the wine region. Our group are wine club members from a winery in the USA and had a great trip with Joao educating us on Portuguese wines. His knowledge of the local wines was invaluable to our group. He also made the education entertaining and added his special flair, which was wonderful for this active and engaging group. Thank you Joao for two wonderful days in Lisbon that our wine club members will cherish for a lifetime.

Thank you very much for your kind words John. It was a pleasure being able to cater to your group in one of our wine regions. Hope to have you back in the near future for another go, in a different region... ;-) Warmest Regards, Joao Dickmann

Super informative, interesting and completely facinating! Marissa was incredibly knowledgeable and she presented the information in an engaging and fun way. The tour took us to great locations around Lisbon in addition to giving us a much better understanding of the history of Portugal. We highly recommend this tour. Obrigada Marissa!

Most people spend an average of 4 nights in Lisbon, and since there is so much to see, we'd recommend a five-day tour that dives into the layers of Portugal's capital.
With that said, it comes down to what you're looking for whether that’s leisure, adventure, nature, or food. Our day tours work best for those who want to pack in as much of the city’s history, culture and cuisine while on a limited schedule.
