We had a wonderful time with Tan! She rented a private van for our group & even picked us up directly from our hotel in Hakone. She then dropped us off at the train station so we could catch a train back to Tokyo. Thank you, Tan.

“An Exceptional Day with SoQ – Hakone & Mount Fuji”

We had a wonderful day exploring the Hakone and Mount Fuji area with SoQ, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment we met, SoQ made our family feel completely comfortable and welcome. What started as a day of sightseeing quickly felt like we were spending time with a longtime friend. He was warm, genuine, knowledgeable and incredibly thoughtful throughout the day. What made the experience particularly special was not just the beautiful places we visited, but the conversations along the way. SoQ shared many personal stories about Japan, his experiences and life, and we really enjoyed getting to know him. He went well beyond simply being a driver or guide — he genuinely connected with our family and made the day memorable. He was also very flexible and attentive to what our family wanted to see, making sure the day was relaxed and enjoyable rather than rushed. His knowledge of the area and his stories gave us a much deeper appreciation of Japan. Thank you, SoQ, for such a wonderful day, your kindness, your stories. We really enjoyed our day in Hakone with Tomoko. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting both for adults and the teens. We had a great time spending the day with her.

Marianna, thank you for your kind review. You had done such thorough research and preparation for your family that I was delighted to be of some help. It was lovely to meet you in Hakone-Yumoto and enjoy a fun day out sightseeing in Hakone with your family of seven all the way to Gora. As it was the day of the fireworks display, it was quite interesting to see food stalls set up along the shores of Lake Ashi—which your children enjoyed a lot.
