Lake Kawaguchi is the most popular place to view Mt. Fuji. I will take you to Arakurayama Park, which is the most popular place to take the picture of Mt. Fuji with the Pagoda. We will take a direct express train from Shinjuku in Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchi to avoid the traffic jam by a highway bus. The possibility of viewing Mt. Fuji is shown in the photo. If we can't see the mountain, I would recommend Oshino Hakkai and Aokigawara forest in the following general itinerary.

We are going to hike from 1st station to 5th station on Yoshida trails. Climbing season over 5th of Mt Fuji is from July 1 ~ Sep10. However, you can hike from the first station to fifth station on Yoshida trails in most seasons. You see many plants along trails and see a few lakes if the weather is good. I recommend these people who come to Mt Fuji out of climbing season or who would like to experience not too hard climbing.

“Great guide, Ken!”
Also, wanted to let you know that the tour guides have been great. Especially Ken, Yuko, and Keiko. Keiko was so the perfect combination of knowledgeable and fun! Perfect for our group. Ken was also very interactive and knowledgeable. He was also great worth the teenagers. Yuki in Tokyo was a treat as well.

“Best tour for lake Kawaguchiko ”
We had the pleasure to visit Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji area. Chinami is a wonderful person and we were extremely pleased and impressed with her knowledge and experience. She shared all the information and historical facts about lake Fuji and surroundings. We also learned a bit more about Japanese culture and tradition. She was kind and patient to check for multiple restaurants to suit our restricted dietary habits. We really enjoyed her company.
