Had a change of itinerary during the day so I asked Yamato if we could bump our schedule which was okay with him. He also fetched me from my hotel. He took me to 3 cool spots and I had the best conversations with him. Truly a wonderful experience.
We were fortunate enough to be in Kurashiki the day of the harvest festival and be privy to the colourful Shinto celebrations and even an "open house" event taking place all around the historical quarter where you could peek into some private residences to see the art of local students or prized family treasures. It was a very laid back afternoon and it was fun talking to Yamato about geo-politics and getting some insights on the history of the famed denim street in the area and local legend, Momotaro.
Nice trip in the old Cit of Okayama, see the Castle and the beauriful Gardens. Yamato give us a lot of information. Thx for the trip
From the moment I started to plan this trip, Yamato was my first guide I had decided to book with Triplelights. He turned out to be great, as he quickly communicated with me and we got an itinerary sorted within days. Thank you Yamato for a lovely afternoon walking through parts of Okayama and Kurashiki. The time went too quickly as we strolled around Kurashiki and also enjoyed some refreshments together while you gave me an insight into life of Okayama. A few hours just wasn’t long enough. I really enjoyed your company and loved hearing your stories of Japan. Yamato was able to help me regarding transport for Himeji and Uno, which was greatly appreciated. Goodluck with all your ventures and life in Okayama ?
Thanks for being just plain awesome Franca :) é stato un gran piacere di conoscerti. Spero che vieni di nuovo a Okayama un giorno! Take care and stay cool. Cheers!
