Hakone & Lake Ashi Joyful 9 hour-Tour from Tokyo

I will pick you up at 8:00 at your hotel in Tokyo, and start the tour from Tokyo Sta. by Shinkansen (bullet train) or Shinjuku Sta. by Odakyu Express. After arriving at Odawara Sta. we will go up to Mt. Sounzan and Owakudani Volcanic Valley by mountain train, funicular cable-car and gondola ropeway, cruise through Lake Ashi in a Pirate Ship, visit Hakone Shrine and go back to Tokyo or to Shinjuku.

Hakone-yumoto and Gora
We will take a mountain train from Hokone-yumoto, the biggest town in Hakone area, and go up thru zigzag railway line towards Gora where we will change to a cable-car then a ropeway towards Oowakudani Valley up there.
Oowakudani Volcanic Valley
We will, by a gondola ropeway, visit Oowakudani, a volcanic valley, with steam and sulfur gas gushing from the mountain side. Famous for its black boiled eggs.
Cruising Ashi Lake
Cruising in a pirate ship thru the frozen-free lake made by the explosion of surrounding volcanos about 3 thousand years ago
Hakone Shrine
Mysterious 1270 years olf shirine surrounded by high cedar trees with a large Torii gate standing from Ashi Lake

Tour Important Information
Mt. Fuji can be seen (if weather is fine) but visiting Mt. Fuji is not involved in this tour, because this excurtion tour through Hakone Caldera (from Odawara, Hakone-yumoto, Gora, Mt. Sounzan, Oowakudani Valley and Ashi Lake and back to Odawara) is perfect with its scale and spectacular views.
Important message from the supplier
I am able to guide you almost every day except every 3rd Wed of the month on which I attend Haiku gathering. I will reply to you within 24 hrs with rough itinerary for your tour.
Transportation fee and lunch of you and a guide will be paid by the client.
- If you pay extra service charge for 10,000 yen, I can also guide you to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and/or Shiga.
- If you want me to meet up at Narita Airport, it costs 6,000 yen. Hotel meetup inside Tokyo 23 wards is free. Outside of the area costs extra.
- If you book me before sending an inquiry, please note you may be requested to pay extra guide fee for hotel meetup (about 2,000 JPY) depending on the location.

Hello, my name is Yasuro (Mr). I was born and brought up in Kansai, graduated from a univ in Kobe city, after moved into Kanto, 30 years in Tokyo, 2.5 years in Nagoya city, 7.5 years abroad (KL & S'pore) as a rep of a construction company and I got the National Guide Certificate in 2011. My hobbies are making Haiku poems, singing various songs (voice-training for 18 years), playing the folk-guitar, trekking in mountains like Takao and Okutama in the West of Tokyo, visiting museums like in Ueno Park and travelling around Japan to make Haiku poems.

“A very busy trip to Hakone ”

Yasuro was a pleasure to deal with from the onset with excellent communication skills. He was reliable and my son and his grandad really enjoyed his company. Yasuro was so flexible to step in when grandad wasn't well enough to sight see and I trusted him to take my 11 year old son around Tokyo. He had the best day with Yusaro who not only showed him the sights but tailored the trip for a child. He was generous with his time and completely trustworthy. Thank you Yusaro. May we meet again.

Eli and I visited the observatory at the top floor of Tokyo City Hall, the building with Godzilla Head in Shinjuku, Meiji Jingu Shrine, where he bought some lucky charms for his family, and adjacent Japanese garden, then to Hachi Dog Statue and Scramble Crossing in Shibuya where he bought his favourite Nike shoes. Eli is, though his age of 11 years old, self-controlled and very respectful to the elderlies; I’ve never ever seen such a good boy.
