Hakone is one of the most popular destination from Tokyo with rich nature, hot spring, historical spots and interesting museums. You can enjoy the great nature and culture. You may be able to see Mt. Fuji if the weather is good. The places I listed in an itinerary are popular places for the first visitors. I will make an itinerary according to your interest.

guide fee
transportation fee (return ticket) from Tokyo to Hakone (you and guide, about 5,000 ~ 7,500 yen per person, depends on which train we take, JR or Odakyu line), transportation fee in Hakone (bus, taxi, ropeway, cruise ship), entrance fee (you and guide, I am free of charge for some places as I am a licensed guide), meal (you and guide) - at your expense
I can meet you in Tokyo (your hotel or stations) and accompany you to Tokyo (your hotel or stations) if you would like (extra charges would be applied).
It's highly recommended to hire a car (an additional fee) as it would be much more efficient to move around. I can arrange a car for you. Most of my tours are by a private car. I know a good company that offer a good price and service. Please inquire the detail. Otherwise use buses, taxis.
Hakone is popular places all year around, so it may be very busy on weekends, especially, spring and autumn. I recommend that we avoid visiting on weekends.
Please bring some Japanese yen, some places don't accept a credit card.

“Wonderful guide”
We had a fantastic two days with Makiko - she was so efficient and helpful and informative. We will definitely recommend her to everyone who plans to travel to Japan. Having a wonderful guide made all the difference to our visit. Tokyo is a special place and Makiko was the icing on the cake!!
“Kamakura and Tokyo Tours”
The day after arriving in Japan we arranged to have a tour of Kamakura and the following day a half day tour of Tokyo. Both of these were with Makiko. Makiko was recommended to us. We found her to be very pleasant to spend time with. She is knowledgeable with regards to the sites we visited but also on the broader aspects of Japanese culture. She was accomodating to our particular needs. We visited some temples and shrines which were enhanced by the information provided by Makiko. We particularly enjoyed the soba noodle restaurant Makiko took us to. We arranged these tours as an introduction to our 2 weeks in Japan. We are now on our own to make the most of our holiday. Makiko has offered for us to sms if we have any further questions which crop up during our visit. I think this is over and above her commitment to us. I would very much recommend Makiko to guide others wishing to enhance their experience of Japan.
“Excellent guide”
Makiko was one of our best guides in Japan. Her English is excellent and she is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her.
