Kyoko was everything we could want in a professional tour guide: Full of suggestions yet sure to prioritize our wants, fluent in English, great with directions, a great photographer, knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and kind. Traveling around Toyko with Kyoko felt like we were finally visiting an aunt we didn't know we had until now! Although we have been to Tokyo several times before this trip, Kyoko showed us around new places and pointed out details we'd never noticed before she pointed them out. Throughout the day, Kyoko took photos of us so we would have plenty of photos to share from our trip! We were so pleased with Kyoko's services that we will book her again when we visit Japan next spring with family members.
Many thanks for your excellent review, JT! I really enjoyed spending time with you and Katie. I knew you had only two days in Tokyo, so I wanted you to have a very pleasant and satisfying tour for you and your wife. We walked a lot, laughed a lot, captured all the digital animals and ate! It was such an amazing day. Also we had a lot of talk and I was amazed at how talented you and Katie were at travelling around the world and writing! I was inspired by your way of life. Finally, you gave me a wonderful comment and it gave me the strength and joy to keep being a tourist guide! Thank you very much for your time to write a wonderful review again. I am looking forward to seeing from you!
Kyoko was an incredible and enthusiastic guide for my four days in Tokyo. Her flexibility and willingness to change plans to suit my desires and interests made our days wonderful. Her English is excellent. Despite transportation challenges she made a day trip to Hakone workable and enjoyable. She showed me many places I would never have discovered on my own. I had quite a few special requests which she always met with capability and courtesy. My tour of nighttime Tokyo with her was also so much fun. I just wish I could have spent more time in Tokyo with Kyoko
Hello Kathryn, thank you very much for taking your time to post such a generous review even you are still on your trip! The four days we spent together were very special for me, too. We enjoyed so many beautiful arts and buildings in Tokyo and Hakone. And I was more than happy when I saw your eyes were shining when you enjoyed experiences, especially Okonomiyaki restaurant and the art museums! I would like to appreciate you making my eyes open to the beauty around me more than ever. Thank you so much for everything. I will never forget the beautiful Autumn sceneries we saw together. I hope we keep in touch and see you again soon!
Thanks to Kyoko, our trip in Japan was fantastic! She is knowledgeable, fun, and caring. Kyoko is more a family friend than a tour guide. She not only provided us a well-planned itinerary, but also helps us out with ad hoc requests. Travelling with elders is sometime challenging, Kyoko always check and make sure all the routes are easy to walk. Her efforts of ensuring the exits are the nearest, any escalators nearby etc. are very much appreciated. I definitely recommend Kyoko to anyone who planned to visit Japan!
Thank YOU and your family, Eva! I had wonderful and relaxing days with you and your family. I am happy that you felt that I was more a family friend than a guide. That's what I like to be. Your father, mother and brother are so generous and open to Japanese culture, and I was happy to show you everything in Tokyo. Especially your father taught me some of very unique history of Malaysia, like about Flying Fox! It was very exciting to know some important memories in the past. And thank you very much for your generous and sweet feed back. I will try to know every elevators and escalators at every station for your parents next visit! Thank you again for finding me for your guide!
We spent 2 wonderful days full of discoveries, new experiences and bright colors with Kyoko in Tokyo and Hakone. Cheerfulness, energy, humor and professionalism of our guide made our trip easy, colorful and rich of positive emotions and impressions. We fell in love of Kyoko, we fell in love with Japan!
Dear Victoria and David, thank you very much for your time to write such a nice review so soon! I am so happy to hear that you had a great experience in Tokyo and Hakone. And it was an amazing moment to share your precious time. You are a generous, intelligent, openminded and sweet couple. I am the one who fell in love with YOU two! I learned a lot about your countries and culture too and I hope I will come to see you soon in France!! And again, thank you very much for choosing me for your guide in Tokyo and Hakone. I loved every scenery we saw together especially the beautiful and perfect Mt. Fuji and scary Owaku Valley with our milk coffee. I miss you and David!
