Join me on a heartfelt journey through Hiroshima and Miyajima, two places that reflect Japan’s sorrow and strength. In Hiroshima, we’ll visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum, where I’ll share stories from survivors and my own family’s experience as a second-generation hibakusha. Then we’ll travel to Miyajima to admire the floating torii gate and serene shrines, discovering how history, hope, and beauty come together in this unforgettable day.

About Tour Guide Yoshiyuki Y.
I was born and raised in Hiroshima, and I have been guiding visitors for more than ten years. For the past three years, I have been a professional guide, and I have conducted over 200 paid tours.
My specialties are guiding visitors around the Peace Memorial Museum, the Peace Park, and Miyajima Island. I also enjoy introducing people to Saijo, which is famous for its sake breweries.
Thanks to my long experience, I am able not only to explain the exhibits and monuments, but also to share the deeper stories behind them. Many of my guests have told me they especially appreciated this.
As a second-generation atomic bomb survivor, I feel a strong responsibility to pass on the stories of Hiroshima to people from around the world. At the same time, I want my guests to enjoy the beauty and hospitality of this city.
