A picture is worth a thousand words. When I was an elementary school student, I visited Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum as a part of our peace education curriculum. I was terribly shocked at the pictures and personal items of atomic bomb victims. They were much more horrible than I had imagined. I realized that there is a thin line between peace and hell. We shouldn't overlook the preciousness and blessing of peace. People in HIroshima and Nagasaki wish our cities should be the first and last sites of atomic bombing in the world.
n Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, we should refrain from guiding. Audio guide service in English is available for 300 JPY, or you will read explanations using panels placed in front of exhibits.
JR bus fare (from Hiroshima Station to Peace Mermorial Park): 200 JPY (If you have Japan Rail Pass, the fare is free)

“A Most Pleasing Day”

“Day tour 8 hours”
Ms Azusa was wonderful. Full of energy, very enthusiastic and fluent in English. Appreciated the lunch reservation- Okonoyomiyaki, which is a Hiroshima special. In both the shrine on Miyajima and the Hiroshima museum, Azusa San stood in long ticket lines, while we had time to take pictures and explore the area briefly on our own. She was very conscientious of our time and allowed us to use it to the fullest. She addressed the history of Hiroshima with accuracy and grace, which was appreciated. We had a wonderful day chatting with Ms. Azsusa throughout the day and would highly recommend her as a guide.
