[Half day] Japanese sake tasting at brewery & lunch at old folk house restaurant in Ibaraki.
This tour takes you on a one-car diesel train to visit a historic sake brewery. First, you will visit the observation deck of Toyoda Castle, a local landmark. Located in the middle of the vast Kanto Plain, the views are amazing. If the weather is good, you can even see Tokyo Skytree. This area is famous for its delicious rice, so they can make fine sake. You can sample sake and if you like it, you can buy it. After the tour, you'll have lunch at a old folk restaurant attached to the brewery.

Moriya train station
- Tsukuba Express line Moriya station has only one exit gate. I will meet you outside of the gate. Moriya station is 35 minutes away from Akihabara station.
Joso line train
Enjoy riding on a one-car diesel train.

We will visit the observation deck of Toyoda Castle, a local landmark. Located in the middle of the vast Kanto Plain.

Nomura Sake Brewery
We will see old style of Japanese Sake brewery and learn sake making process. We can also sample some fresh sake.
Lunch at a old folk restaurant
Enjoy lunch and sake at a old folk restaurant attached to the brewery.

Tour Important Information
* We may visit a different brewery if the Nomura Sake Brewery is closed.
* Brewery and restaurant need reservation in advance. Please contact me.
* Depending on the season, you may not be able to see the sake brewing process, but it is still possible to tour the brewery.
* This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
* Train schedule may change on weekends.
* Tsukuba Express Moriya station is 35 minutes away from Akihabara station in Tokyo and cost you 840 JPY / person one way.
* Joso line train cost you 1,520 JPY / person round trip.
* Taxi cost between Toyoda castle and brewery will approx. 1,500 JPY.
* Please pay for your lunch at the restaurant.
