Hello, I'm Yuichi, an English tour guide in Hokuriku region.
If you are thinking about traveling to historical places
such as Kanazawa, Shirakawa-go and Takayama, I am willing to offer a tour.
I can bring you to those popular destinations
from my base, Toyama city.
These are the examples of my tour:
Kanazawa - Shirakawago - Takayama
Takaoka - Gokayama - Shirakawago - Takayama
Toyama - Tateyama Kurobe Alipne Route - Omachi (Nagano Pref.)
During the tour I like to provide simple explanations about Japanese history,
and small tips for using the Japanese language on your request.
My interests are food, cooking, sake and wine
as well as Japanese novels and movies.
It would be possible to add those tastes to our tour
including a visit to local wineries, movie scenes, etc...
Finally, I will do my best to give you a pleasant stay.
Looking forward to seeing you in Hokuriku!

David-san, nice to hear from you! I'm honored to have your kind compliment! I was so astonished with your fluent Japanese! Please come again to Toyama as a friend of mine and I will visit LA someday!

“Our guide Yuichi”
Our tour with Yuichi was outstanding! His English skills were great. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Hi, Kevin. It's so nice to hear from you again and thank you so much for your kindest review! I hope you must've enjoyed your journey even after Kanazawa.

“Gassho Houses and More with a Fabulous Guide!”
Yuichi was a wonderful guide. He's friendky, speaks excellent English and very flexible with itinerary. Yuichi drove us to Shirakawa-go and the more remote Ainokura areas to see thatched roof homes, and then (at my request) to the gorgeous Glass Museum. He answered my questions with patience and kindness. A magical day that we'll never forget!

Hi, Linda-san & Steve-san. Thank you so much for your prompt & warmest review on my tour. I’m sure you could enjoy seeing both traditional and modern sides of Toyama Prefecture. I also cannot forget the time spent with such a nice couple like Linda and Steve. Please stay tuned on my activities and hopefully I will see you in NY :)
