First, we go rent kimono at the shop. They have so many color, design of kimono so that you can choose what you like to wear.
And once you get ready, we go to Inari shrine. Inari shrine is famous for its thousands of vermilion "Torii gates". You will definitely enjoy to walk under the gates.
The next direction is Kiyomizu temple. We take a train and a bus to get there. Kiyomizudera is known for its wooden stage that juts out from the main hall. 13 meters above the hillside. and the view from the stage is amazing!
Our last direction is Yasaka shrine. Founded over 1350 years ago and located between Gion and Hiashiyama distrcts. Yasaka shrine is known for its summer festival that we call it "Gion matsuri" that it's celebrated every July. and this shrine is also very busy during the cherry blossom season in early April. There is "Maruyama park" that it's the most famous Cherry blossom spot in kyoto next to Yasaka shrine.
After you enjoy everything, we go back to Inari to return kimono that you rent.
All three places are very famous places that you must go! You will have a wonderful day in kyoto!

I had a great day and full day touring around with Chiho. We visited a Saki museum, went on a boat ride around a local neighborhood and then had lunch at a local restaurant that has an 18 saki tasting that will make you never want to leave! Walking around the quiet neighborhood was a change from busy central Kyoto. We finished up with a Matcha tea ceremony that was interesting to check out. Chiho was very personable, pleasant and I am glad I was able to book her on such short notice. I found her english was much better than expected and she was helpful when things needed translation. The best is that you can customize instead of just doing the same temples and such. I did skip the Kimono...maybe next time.
Dear Kevin Thank you very much for your kind review. It was a great pleasure for me to have you as my first customer. I really appreciate that You gave me a lot of advices to make my tour better. When you come back to Kyoto again, let’s explore more together!! Chiho
