We’ll arrive at Kurama Station, the starting point of our scenic hike. Our first stop is the famous Kurama Temple, which is set against the backdrop of lush forests.

After lunch, we’ll make our way to Kifune Shrine, an ancient and spiritual site dedicated to the water deity. Kifune Shrine has been a place of worship since the Heian period and is known for its sacred trees, healing waters, and connection to matchmaking. The atmosphere here is serene and spiritual, making it a wonderful place to visit.

In the outstanding Tenryuji, you will see a beautiful garden with beautiful mountains in the background. There are many other beautiful places with touching stories in this area. On the way back to downtown, we can visit two world heritage sites, Kinkakuji and Ryoanji. What a wonderful route!
