Zao Fox Village
In a mountainous area in southern Miyagi prefecture, there is Zao Fox Village.
It is a zoo that specializes in foxes.
You can closely see more than 100 foxes that are walking around in the village.
You can even feed or hug and stroke them.

Tour Important Information
【Transporations】
We will use train and taxi to get to Zao Fox Village.
The train fare is 760 yen for one way, per person.
If you use shinkansen(bullet train), the fare would be 1,620.
If you have Japan Rail Pass, you can use it.
The taxi fare would be around 4,000 yen for one way.
【About Zao Fox Village】
The admission fee of Zao Fox Village is 1,000 yen per person.
We will walk in the village full of foxes.
So please wear comfortable shoes.
You can touch or feed foxes only at designated times.
You are not allowed to do that at any other occasions.
You can feed foxes at 10:00 a.m.
It costs additional 100 yen.
You can touch and hug foxes at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
It costs additional 400 yen.
Zao Fox Village is closed on Wednesdays.

“Customized Half Day Sendai Tour”
My wife is a true Hanyu Yuzuru’s fan and that’s the main reason why we decided to spend half day (on our way to Akita) in Sendai to visit his birth place and hometown. If triplelights allow us to give Shunsuke a six stars rating, we are more happy to do so. Shunsuke diligently planned a special tour to make sure my wife can experience her “Yuzuru” experience, Shunsuke even went beyond and helped my wife to get the limited Yuzuru subway pass two months before we arrived. He understand our group is traveling with an elderly and pre arranged taxi service besides using the subway. Shunsuke is very communicative, patient, courteous and accommodative. We decided to schedule another half day trip with him when we travel back from Akita to Tokyo. Anyone who is interested in exploring the beautiful Sendai should hire Shunsuke.

Matsushima, one of the three most scenic views in Japan
“A Very Memorable Tour in Matsushima Area”
Shunsuke was a great tour guide with a lot of experience, he planned our tour carefully and also took into account my preferences about what to do along the way. I wanted to see the cherry blossoms and he took me to a park on the hills of Matsushima where the view of cherry blossoms together with the view of Matshusima Bay area was amazing! I wanted to try some of the local food and he took me to a local restaurant for a great sushi course and famous local oysters. Of course, we also visited all the important monuments in the area, even witnessed a real buddhist wedding ceremony in Zuiganji Temple! Every step along the way, he told me about the importance and the history of the places we visited. I really enjoyed the tour and also learned a lot from him. I would highly recommend Shunsuke as a tour guide to anyone planning to visit Matsushima area..
