Enjoy Sapporo’s cherry blossoms on this seasonal private tour. Travel comfortably by car and visit the city’s top sakura spots: Hokkaido Shrine & Maruyama Park, Nakajima Park, and Moerenuma Park. Stroll under beautiful cherry blossom trees, enjoy the peaceful spring atmosphere, and capture memorable photos.
For lunch, you can choose authentic Sapporo ramen, fresh seafood at the Sapporo Crab Market, or a local conveyor-belt sushi restaurant popular with locals.

Hokkaido Shrine & Maruyama Park
Enjoy a peaceful stroll among cherry blossoms at one of Sapporo’s most famous hanami spots. Visit Hokkaido Shrine, the most important Shinto shrine in Hokkaido, dedicated to the guardian deities of the island. Learn about its history while admiring the seasonal beauty of Maruyama Park.
Nakajima Park
Visit another stunning cherry blossom location, known for its scenic walking paths and traditional Japanese architecture.
Since parking is not available inside Nakajima Park, we will stop at a nearby hotel underground parking lot. The parking fee is about ¥600 per hour and must be paid in cash.
Lunch Stop: Crab Market, Ramen, or Local Sushi
Savor fresh seafood at the Sapporo Crab Market, enjoy Sapporo-style ramen, or visit a local conveyor-belt sushi restaurant near our next destination.
We will select a restaurant based on your preferences and any allergies or dietary needs.
Please kindly note that the guide’s lunch will be covered by the guests.
Depart for Moerenuma Park
Relax on a scenic drive (about 45 minutes) to Moerenuma Park, a unique landscape park designed by world-renowned sculptor Isamu Noguchi, where the entire park is considered one large sculpture.
Depart Moerenuma Park for Hotel
At 2:40 PM, we depart Moerenuma Park and return to the hotel. The drive usually takes about 40 minutes, but depending on traffic conditions it may take 45–60 minutes.

Due to Japanese law requiring child safety seats for children under 6 years old, this tour is not available for guests under the age of 6.
Lunch: approximately $10–15 USD per person
Guests are kindly requested to cover the guide’s lunch.

Some small restaurants, such as ramen shops, may accept cash only.
Tour Important Information
This tour uses my compact car, which does not have a child seat for children under 6 years old. If you are traveling with young children, a chartered taxi with a child seat will be required. Guests will need to pay the taxi fare directly to the driver.
This tour is not wheelchair accessible, as my vehicle cannot accommodate wheelchairs.
If your group has four or more people, a chartered taxi will be required. Please inform me in advance.
Pickup and drop-off are available at hotels in central Sapporo. If you are staying at an Airbnb or outside central Sapporo, pickup and drop-off will be arranged at Sapporo Station.
Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, as some locations involve walking.
Lunch costs are not included, and guests are kindly requested to cover the guide’s lunch during the meal.
If you have dietary restrictions (e.g., halal, vegetarian), please let me know in advance so I can suggest suitable lunch options.
This tour is available from mid-April to early May during the cherry blossom season.
Advance booking is recommended due to the limited seasonal availability.
The tour start time is flexible upon request, but the standard meeting time is 9:00 AM.
During the cherry blossom season, weekends tend to be very crowded, and parking at Hokkaido Shrine may not be available.
For this reason, this tour is only available on weekdays.

“Profesional and corteous”
Clearly on time, picked us up as schedulled in the lobby, drove us to all locations. From the historical village, to the museum, to the Sapporo brewery as well to the Winter olympic facilities. She was able to obviate mishaps and compensate with agility a lunch place that was with a long waiting list and took us to an alternative that may have been more suitable for us as was a completely unexpected place and with excellent food. “A Spiritual visit in Sapporo ”
Our time with Yumi was very educational. Yumi met us in a very modern comfortable car. We visited the Butsugamji Temple with a sleeping gold Buddha set in a beautiful japanese garden setting. The Hill of the Buddha. Stonehenge and the Easter island Statues. A quiet serene place. Next was a visit to the Hitsujigaoka observatory where we saw sheep, the only ones on our 4 week trip. Lunch was at a delicious restaurant. Yumi spoke very good English for us and it shows she loves guiding tourists and is also a very good photographer. Thank you Yumi for a lovely day.
