“Such a cool village!”
Scott brought me to his favourite open-air museum: a heritage village depicting life to scale in the Meiji and Taisho Periods, and then the heritage museum afterwards. He knew so much about each site and explained it all very thoroughly, I learned a lot about life in Japan during these times and earlier. Highly recommend booking this tour and then finishing the day by having a beer or cider with your new friend, it was quite enjoyable! :)

“So informative, a must-see if visiting Sapporo!”
I had a wonderful time with Scott learning about the Ainu people, he is incredibly informative and puts a lot of passion into his work. He even quizzes you and keeps you involved while offering insights on the lives of the Indigenous Ainu. After feeding the mind, he takes you to feed the soul (and your belly) at an Onsen after lunch. The one we visited allowed tattoos and offered Indian food with delicious fresh nan. I will definitely want to revisit the area my next time in Hokkaido and have another hot spring experience.
