This Sapporo tour runs from April to November and includes a private car with an English-speaking guide for up to three guests. For four or more guests, a chartered taxi can be arranged.
9:00 AM – Hotel pick-up
Visit Hokkaido Shrine and Okurayama Ski Jump.
Lunch options: Crab Market, a local ramen shop, or a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. Allergy requests can be accommodated.
Afternoon options: Shiroi Koibito Park or the Moai statues.
Return to the hotel around 4:00 PM.

Meeting Point
Guest’s Hotel
- I will pick you up from your hotel in Sapporo at 9:00 AM. Please wait at the hotel lobby or the main entrance. If your hotel is outside central Sapporo, please let me know in advance so I can arrange a convenient meeting point.
Hokkaido Shrine
We will start the tour with a visit to Hokkaido Shrine, a peaceful Shinto shrine surrounded by nature. Here, you can learn about Japanese traditions and enjoy a relaxing stroll.
For Muslim guests, an alternative location will be arranged.
Okurayama Ski Jump & Ropeway
Take a scenic ropeway ride up to the Okurayama Ski Jump, where you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Sapporo. This location is famous for hosting international ski jump competitions.
Lunch at Sapporo Crab Market
Lunch Options
Enjoy lunch at one of Sapporo’s popular local spots. You can choose from the Sapporo Crab Market, a local ramen restaurant, or a local conveyor-belt sushi restaurant.
If you have other requests, please let me know in advance. Food allergies and dietary restrictions can also be accommodated.
Option 1: Moai Statues and Buddha Head in Minami Ward
Visit an unusual site featuring Moai statues and a large Buddha head, a hidden attraction in Sapporo.
Option 2: Shiroi Koibito Park
Explore a famous sweets factory and museum, where you can see the production of Hokkaido’s famous cookies and enjoy beautiful European-style architecture.

Tipping is not required in Japan. However, if you wish to leave a gratuity, it is always appreciated.
Tour Important Information
This tour uses my compact car. Due to Japanese safety regulations requiring child seats, children under 6 years old cannot join this tour.
If you are traveling with young children, a chartered taxi with a child seat can be arranged. Guests will need to pay the taxi fare directly to the driver.
If your group has four or more people, a chartered taxi will also be required. Please inform me in advance.
This tour is not wheelchair accessible, as my vehicle cannot accommodate wheelchairs.
Guests staying in Airbnb or accommodations outside central Sapporo will be picked up at the East Ticket Gate of Sapporo Station.
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes, as some locations involve walking.
If you have dietary restrictions, such as Halal or vegetarian preferences, please let me know in advance so I can adjust the lunch options.
This tour is available from April to November (not available from December to March due to winter conditions).
However, if you choose the chartered taxi option, the tour can also be arranged during the winter season. Taxi charter fees must be paid directly to the taxi driver.
Advance booking is recommended to secure availability.

The tour start time is flexible upon request, but the standard meeting time is 9:00 AM.

“Profesional and corteous”
Clearly on time, picked us up as schedulled in the lobby, drove us to all locations. From the historical village, to the museum, to the Sapporo brewery as well to the Winter olympic facilities. She was able to obviate mishaps and compensate with agility a lunch place that was with a long waiting list and took us to an alternative that may have been more suitable for us as was a completely unexpected place and with excellent food. “A Spiritual visit in Sapporo ”
Our time with Yumi was very educational. Yumi met us in a very modern comfortable car. We visited the Butsugamji Temple with a sleeping gold Buddha set in a beautiful japanese garden setting. The Hill of the Buddha. Stonehenge and the Easter island Statues. A quiet serene place. Next was a visit to the Hitsujigaoka observatory where we saw sheep, the only ones on our 4 week trip. Lunch was at a delicious restaurant. Yumi spoke very good English for us and it shows she loves guiding tourists and is also a very good photographer. Thank you Yumi for a lovely day.
