We hired Asad in July 2026 for a private tour of the Shakotan Peninsula and Otaru, and he was the best guide we have ever had. From the planning stage, he was responsive, helpful, and attentive to everything we wanted to see. He arrived on time, drove safely, and provided a clean, comfortable vehicle. He knew the area like the back of his hand, taking us to every planned stop while also recommending hidden gems, scenic viewpoints, and local places we never would have found on our own. Throughout the day, Asad focused on our comfort and made sure everything ran smoothly without ever making us feel rushed. He brought snacks and water, treated us to ice cream, and even paid for a taxi in Otaru so we would not miss our dinner reservation. At a sake distillery, he translated for us and helped us choose the best bottles. He also spoke with the host at our sushi restaurant to make sure we were well taken care of. Asad was excellent company and a great conversationalist, but he also knew when to give my wife and me space. He struck the perfect balance between guiding us and letting us enjoy Hokkaido at our own pace. Every recommendation was thoughtful and spot-on. The tour was worth every penny and became one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Asad is knowledgeable, dependable, generous, and genuinely kind. We would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a driver or private guide in Hokkaido, and we would absolutely hire him again.

“Family Trip to Hokkaido Sapporo attractions with Kumiko”

What can I say about this tour guide other than YOU MUST utilize her as your guide. Our second tour day was 1/2 a day to see some sights in Sapporo that were more difficult to get to using subways, buses, and walking. Kumiko planned a perfect route and allowed us time at each location to explore. We asked for a great lunch stop, and she provided a local restaurant for fantastic Soba. It was delicious! The information she provided at each stop was interesting and provided us with an understanding and appreciation for what we were seeing. Kumiko is friendly and fun, and her love of her job shines through every moment you spend with her. We are grateful to have had her for 2 separate tours! If you are looking for the perfect guide, look no further. Working with her was a great experience

Thank you so much again for the nice review for our second tour in Sapporo. I felt so happy seeing you all in relaxing atmosphere to explore the each destinations like local people.The thing I was impressed from you the most is that you were always trying to see and understand the story or the scenery behind what you were in front of . Like just watching the flower , the father was mentioning about the relaxing lives of local people, and Just being the Soba restaurant , you see the close relationship of the local community and kindness of the working people there. Those are the exactly the things I would like you to know about my favorite hometown. And I felt really happy and deeply appreciate that you showed such a beautiful attitude with generous respect and nice smiles. “An Unforgettable Experience ”

We booked a private tour of Otaru and Cape Kamui with Asad and his hospitality was truly second to none. From the initial planning stages to the final drop-off, Asad was punctual, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. What we appreciated most was his flexibility. We were able to adjust our itinerary to add a glass bead making class which was a fun experience. Asad handled booking the class for us, and we really appreciated that! He also handled all the local navigation and logistics perfectly, leaving us completely stress-free. He’s also an amazing photographer! We got lots of our best photos from our trip during our day with him. Asad is a true example of an excellent guide, and we will definitely book with them again. :)
