- We will meet at the west entrance of the station where the bus towards Shirakawa-go will depart.
Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal Ogimachi
Arrival at Ogimachi bus terminal.
Ogimachi Walk
Embark on a leisurely walking tour through Ogimachi, the heart of Shirakawa-go, where every corner tells a story of Japan's rich cultural heritage. The walk can take from 1 hour to 3 hours depending on pace and interests.
Observation Deck
Ascend to the Ogimachi Observation Deck for a breathtaking panoramic view of Shirakawa-go. From this vantage point, marvel at the iconic gassho-zukuri houses nestled in the lush valley, surrounded by mountains. It's the perfect spot to capture the essence of this UNESCO World Heritage site and appreciate its timeless beauty. The observation deck visit can take up to 30 minutes.
Wada House
Visit the Wada House, one of the largest and most well-preserved gassho-zukuri farmhouses in Shirakawa-go. Built in the Edo period, this historic house offers a fascinating look into traditional rural life, with exhibits showcasing tools, household items, and the unique architectural features that have stood the test of time. Wada house explanation can take up to 40 minutes.
Tajima House
the Tajima House, a well-preserved example of a traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouse in Shirakawa-go. This historical residence, dating back over 200 years, offers a captivating glimpse into the rural lifestyle of Japan's past and the village's histroy with sericulture. Explanation by specialist can take up to 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on availability (can be much faster).

This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or any other losses incurred during the tour.
Medical Fitness:
You affirm that you are physically fit and capable of participating in the tour.
You agree to inform the tour organizers of any medical conditions or special requirements prior to the tour.
Compliance with Instructions:
You agree to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the tour guides.
You understand that failure to comply with these instructions may increase the risk of injury or harm.
Personal Responsibility:
You acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your personal belongings during the tour.
The tour organizers are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
Jurisdiction:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanazawa, Japan.
