Ashikaga is located 80km north From Tokyo. The city has a lovely atmosphere with a lot of tourist attractions for relaxing.
We'll explore the city of Ashikaga, such as visiting Ashikaga Gakko and Bannaji temple where you can see history and traditional culture. After lunch, we'll go to Ashikaga Flower Park which has a lot of beautiful flowers. The park is especially beautiful in wisteria season. Let's enjoy magnificent view of wisteria in the park!

Train ride
After meeting at your hotel around 9 am, we'll take trains to Ashikaga. The meeting time might be slightly changed due to the location of your hotel.
Ashikaga Gakko and Bannaji temple
If you're interested in, we'll go to Ashikaga Gakko and Bannaji temple.
Ashikaga Flower Park
We'll enjoy the beautiful flowers in the park.
Your hotel
We'll go back to your hotel or wherever you like to finish our tour.

Transportation fares for you : Train fare between Tokyo area and Ashikaga about 9500 yen (including the bullet train tickets), Bus or Taxi if needed
** If you have JR Pass, the train fare would be much cheaper. Please tell me in advance.**

Entrance fee for Ashikaga Gakko : 420 yen for adult, 210 yen for high school student, free for child
Entrance fee for Ashikaga Flower Park: 400 yen to 2100 yen for adult, 200 yen to 1100 yen for child, depending on season

Hello, I'm Yoko. I was born and brought up in Ashikaga, Tochigi prefecture (80 km north from Tokyo) and I've lived in Tokyo for more than 20 years.
I love traveling, both overseas and inside Japan. After I visited other countries and saw many local cultures there, I realized that Japan has a variety of unique cultures with a lot of tourist attractions.

“Customized tour with Yoko-San”
Sorry for the late entry, but my aunt Maggie and I had a wonderful time with Yoko-san guiding us through Senso-ji and Asakusa area. Then we had a very lovely lunch at Mochizuki, over at the Asahi Group Headquarter Building. From the restaurant we had a view of the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree. Afterwards, Yoko-san got us to where we needed to be next, on the way we were able to see cherry blossoms which was great! So happy to connect with Yoko-san again for a tour, it was perfect for my aunt’s very first visit to Tokyo (too bad the weather wasn’t ideal). Thank you so much for everything, hope to see you again next time.

“Enjoyable Tour”
This is our 2nd time we booked a tour with Yoko. We had booked a couple of tours back in 2018 and enjoyed them very much and wanted to book Yoko again. The morning of the tour we had unexpected snow, but Yoko made some minor changes to our original plans, and it worked out wonderfully. We very much enjoyed Yoko's company, and she is always so friendly, patient and accommodating to our requests. Thanks so much Yoko for a lovely time!
