About Tour Guide Kyoko I.
Hello, my name is Kyoko. I am a National licensed tour guide.
After graduating from college in the United States, I worked as an editor for an international in-flight magazine. It gave me the opportunity to travel to many countries, including Europe, America, Asia and Mid East, to gather research for my articles.
I live in Tokyo with my family, I sing in a local chorus group and I enjoy cooking Asian food like Indian, Thai, Burmese and Korean food.
Being a tour guide for group or private tours, I get to meet people and learn about different cultures from all over the world. It has become my most favorite thing to do.
I am very enthusiastic about sharing my Japanese culture and hospitality to make your travel experience memorable.
As your guide, I will show you the beauty of Japan!

Thank you so much for your kind and generous review. It truly made my day to read your lovely words. I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed the customized shopping itinerary and that the day met your expectations. I was especially touched when you told me that the list of Jirai-kei fashion shops had been prepared by your daughter without knowing about the trip, and that you made this tour a birthday gift for her. You are such a wonderful mother, Rachna-san, and it was a joy for me to see your daughter’s big smile throughout the day. Thank you again for choosing my tour and for taking the time to write such a thoughtful recommendation. I hope your wonderful memories of Japan stay with you for a long time, and I would be delighted to guide you again if you return in the future. Warm regards, Kyoko

“Book your next tour with Kyoko ”
Our tour with Kyoko was perfect. She worked with my family and I to sculpt the perfect tour of Tokyo. She was kind, gentle, and very informed. She had printed visual references and lots of answers to our questions at the Imperial Palace. Her English is great. She lived in the US for a few years. But above that, she has a kind and gentle spirit which touched my family’s heart. We are so grateful for the time we spent with Kyoko.

Dear Joe, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. The sparkling time I spent with you, Jenny and your children is truly a treasure to me. I was so happy that all of you listened patiently to my stories such as the Shoguns and Emperors. Your son and daughter, raised by such warm and kind parents, I was so impressed by how sharp, thoughtful, and friendly your children were — our conversations were lively and full of fun! Though it was only half a day, it flew by, and your family’s smiles have stayed in my heart. I truly hope we’ll meet again someday. And thank you for the great sushi lunch, too!! Thank you for choosing me as your guide!

Asakusa, 3 hours.
Asakusa is not only a temple town but also a traditional town of common peoples's culture. In the typical Tokyo Shitamachi (old residential town), there is Japanese Broadway, interesting and unique river view and many many shops worth to visit. You can enjoy the essence of Shitamachi.

Temple or Shrine, Let's distinguish together!!
You may visit to the historical places when you come over to Japan. If you visit to Kyoto or other historical places, I highly recommend you to know the difference between the shrine and temple based on your knowledge. Tokyo has been the center of Japan not economical but cultural and historical places. I will take you to the place you can feel the time passed over 150 years with the urban style of Tokyo.
