On this tour, we’ll visit Enoshima Island, the Great Buddha, and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine—each offering its own unique beauty and atmosphere. It’s a perfect day trip to enjoy Japan’s history, nature, and coastal charm all at once!

Hello everyone! I'm Toru, a nationally licensed tour guide.
I mainly guide individual travelers and small groups around Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone. I live in a town near Narita International Airport.
People often say that one of the unique traits of Japanese culture is paying close attention to detail while trying not to show it. In other words, there are many unspoken stories hidden behind what you see in Japan. I always try to interpret those stories and help my guests discover the secrets of Japanese culture.
I offer three tour plans — Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone — which I believe are perfect for first-time visitors to Japan. Each one includes the must-see highlights of the area.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you in Japan!

“Thank you Toru!!”
Toru was a wonderful tour guide in every way. He made us feel welcome and comfortable. He planned a excellent day for us and was very knowledgable on the many areas that we visited. His gentle and kind demeanour was a very added pleasure to our experience. He almost felt like family by the tail end of the day. I would highly recommend Toru to anyone wanting to have a lovely guided experience of Tokyo.

Thank you so much for your warm and thoughtful review. Guiding you through Tokyo was truly a joy for me. it was also wonderful to see the cheerful energy and kindness of your parents throughout the day. Spending time with you felt like sharing the city with good friends. I hope our paths will cross again in the future. Until then, I wish you all continued health, happiness, and many more family adventures together.

“Wonderful tour guide!”
Toru allowed us to customize our tour, and we packed a lot into eight hours! Without him, we would have never mastered the trains well enough to see so much in one day. We had tickets to see a Swallows baseball game (which I highly recommend!), and Toru walked us to the ballpark and gave us directions to get back to our hotel using the train. (Toru - if you are reading this, we did not get lost!). His English was easy to understand, he took great photos, and he provided just the right amount of information we needed to understand the background of the sites we saw in Tokyo.

Thank you Beverly for your kind comment and high rating of the Tokyo tour. I'm honoured to receive it. I'm also verry happy to have shared a pleasant time with you. You seemed to enjoy the Japanese baseball games very much. I look forward to seeing the the Japanese and American teams play in the championship game in the World Baseball Classic next year. Please give my best wishes to Mark as well.

“Wonderful shore excursion to Kamakura”
Toru communicated with me ahead of time to design a great day for seeing the sights in Kamakura and learning the history. He even found a restaurant for lunch that would accommodate our picky eaters.
