About an hour train ride from center of Tokyo, embrace yourself in the nature…experience the mixture of modern vibes and historical sites in harmony.
Whether you choose a relaxing hike or an intense one, take the lift or cable car, there is always beautiful scenery to enjoy !
Afterwards, give yourself a treat at Ukai Toriyama, enjoy the famous chicken dish and beautifully designed Japanese gardens.
If you come in summertime, the firefly viewing is another treat…

Arrive to the peak around 2:30pm.
A leisurely tea time while enjoying the magnificent scenery. And of course, the view of Mt. Fuji is right in front of you in a clear day.

A short distance away from Mt Takao,
Enjoy the beautifully designed Japanese garden with ponds and small houses… and summertime, fly fires… all around.

It was a pleasure to spend the day with Carol as our guide. Great advice and suggestions in helping my daughter and I decide what to see during our tour, while being happy to change things on the day if we wanted to. We managed to see everything we had planned including specialist shops which Carol had researched and found. “The Best at our Guide Ever”
Carol was the absolute best guide ever! I highly recommend Carol if you need a guide. We had the best time with her showing us around Japan. Her English was perfectly spoken we could understand everything she said and she was able to translate conversations with ease. We were a large group of 40 people from the United States of America who ranged in ages from 41 to 86 years old and we all absolutely loved the services she provided. I can’t go without mentioning that she came and provided services for us on her day off as well! She is an amazing person with a warm wonderful heart and spirit! We travel as a group every year and never have we had a guide that we enjoyed more than Carol!!! If you are looking for a guide she comes highly recommended from all 40 of us!!!! FIVE STARS ️️️️️
