Akihabara Maid Cafe Tour by Former Maid Cafe Manager
The first maid cafe was started in Akihabara.
Nowadays, there are around 200 maid cafes alone in Akihabara.
Maids will welcome guests of all genders, generations, and nationalities, but some have difficulties in English communication.
No problem. I can help you talk to them!
The good news is that I was a manager at one of the largest maid cafe chains and led 40 maids.
Other Otaku activities are also included in the tour.
Hopefully, all anime, pop idol, and gadget Otaku can enjoy the tour!

“Another amazing tour with Melody!”
Once again, our clients had such an amazing time touring Tokyo with Melody! Here is their review: Melody is the perfect mix of Japanese history and fun. He got our personality very quickly and modified the itinerary. He suggested going to the anime area, which we would have never gone to without him and we really loved it. He was just as excited as Jake was when he won a giant prize at the claw game! He's very professional and very fun at same time. Just a pleasure to spend the day with you even in 100 degree weather. He photographed every experience and sent it to us at the end of every day. The pictures were great - better than anything any of us took! Thank you Melody!

“First full day in Tokyo”
Melody was right on time to meet us even though we shifted our pick up location. He was an excellent guide that took us to what felt like all over Tokyo. He was also great about taking group photos for us so we could just focus on the fun. We have him booked again in a few days and can’t wait to see everything he shows us on day two!

Allison, thank you very much for your wonderful review and for sharing your beautiful photos! We had such a full and memorable day, starting at Gotokuji Temple, the famous Lucky Cat Temple, then exploring Tsukiji Market, strolling through the beautiful Hamarikyu Japanese Garden, visiting an adorable otter café on Harajuku's Takeshita Street, experiencing the peaceful atmosphere of Meiji Shrine, and finishing the day in the vibrant streets of Shibuya. I hope you enjoyed discovering both the traditional and modern sides of Tokyo. Let's make the second day of your tour just as fun and unforgettable. I'm already looking forward to seeing you again!

Lynn, thank you for your heartwarming review. Thank you very much for joining my tour right after your long flight to Japan, even though you must have been dealing with jet lag. I think going to Shinjuku at night was the perfect way to start your trip, and I'm so happy it became such a memorable first evening in Japan. I'm sure you continued to enjoy the rest of your journey just as much after our tour. I will always cherish the time we spent together and the wonderful conversations we shared. Until we meet again, take care, and I hope to see you back in Japan someday!

Once upon a time in Asakusa: Handicraft & Samurai
The Edo period, when Tokyo became the capital, is often seen as the peak of Japanese art and culture! Temple architecture, woodworking, woodblock prints, porcelain... I will use traditional handicrafts to illustrate the history and lifestyle of the people of Tokyo. Who were the samurai? What difference with a Ninja? How were armors crafted? I am also going to teach you all you need to know about those fierce warriors in front of a large collection of authentic weapons & armors.
