“A splendid tour with Melody”

Hi Melody, Thank you so much for the wonderful day you gave us. Your tour was excitingly special and different with the heart of anime, manga, and electronic culture, Japanese girls as anime figures in maid cafes, and then a beautiful Shinto shrine and the imperial Palace. The old and the new. The living, vibrant city and the dead city. The Tokyo you showed us was fascinatingly different. Especially the unexpected and the non-touristy. A chrysanthemum display with flowerpots containing figurines and houses. The 'Shibuya crossing'—the most famous intersection in the world with six zebra crossings in different directions and thousands of people—was an experience. Sea anemone sashimi in the fish market restaurant was delicious, 'oishi.' On top of it all your personal explanations about Japanese life were super interesting and I'm saying that as a very curious journalist! I will highly recommend your services to my friends around the globe. Arigato Melody San!

Simone, thank you for the excellent review. It was the luckiest surprise that we met to know each other. I’m pretty sure you enjoyed very peaceful and energetic time in Tokyo. “A Fun Few Hours Of Quirky Tokyo”

Melody is a charming young man who was a pleasure to be with. Although I'm not hugely interested in Anime or the cutesy Maid Cafes of Japan, when in Tokyo you have to at least see the things you wont see at home. I've been to Akihabara a few times before, but it's so much easier to visit with a local who can save you time by guiding you to hidden stores and cafes which are not easily seen from the street, so Melody's services were invaluable, and I saw a whole new side to the area. I'm delighted to have had the experience, even though it's still not my thing. Yet oddly enough, I would probably do it again and dig a little deeper into the culture. Japan never fails to fascinate, and if you get the chance you have to take every opportunity available. And there's absolutely no reason why I wouldn't wish to spend time with Melody again and have another new adventure.

Simon, thank you for the lovely comment. We met only for 3 hours but enjoyed a lot of conversations. You taught me fashion and clothes, while I taught you maid cafes. Maid cafe is very Japanese, considering the background why it's so popular in here. I like you blushing in the photo with a maid. See you next time!
