The first maid cafe was started in Akihabara.

Nowadays, there are around 200 maid cafes alone in Akihabara.

Maids will welcome guests of all genders, generations, and nationalities, but some have difficulties in English communication.

No problem. I can help you talk to them!

The good news is that I was a manager at one of the largest maid cafe chains and led 40 maids.

Other Otaku activities are also included in the tour.

Hopefully, all anime, pop idol, and gadget Otaku can enjoy the tour!

A Wonderful Experience- the memories will last a lifetime

We had such a fantastic day exploring Tokyo with Melody. Travelling alone with a little one can be challenging, but he made everything feel easy and relaxed. He helped with the stroller, was patient and warm, and kept the whole day fun. A huge highlight was the professional photographer, Kai. He was incredibly friendly and had such a cool, effortless style (you can tell he works in fashion). He captured the most beautiful photos, ones I know I’ll cherish forever. It took all the pressure off trying to take pictures while juggling a toddler, and let me just enjoy the experience. We visited so many lovely spots; Meiji Shrine, Yoyogi Park, Pignic Café, Takeshita Street, the Noa purikura photo booth, Shibuya Crossing and Hachiko - and Melody also gave great suggestions for the rest of our trip. If you’re considering a “Tokyo Tour with Professional Photographer,” I can’t recommend Melody and Kai enough!! They made the day truly special.

Alexandra, thank you so much for your lovely review. It was truly wonderful that you chose our tour with our professional photographer, Kai — especially since the two gentlemen were able to help you with your luggage, haha! We will never forget that day, and we hope you will cherish the stunning photos along with the memories. Wishing you and your family all the very best. Arigato gozaimasu!

An absolutely incredible tour- thank you, Melody!

I had the most wonderful day exploring Tokyo with our tour guide, Melody. It was just me and my 1 1/2 year old son, and I truly wouldn’t have been able to experience half of what we did without him. He made everything so easy, relaxed, and fun (even with a stroller and a sometimes-spirited toddler in tow!). Melody was unbelievably kind, warm, and patient. He didn’t just guide us; he genuinely looked after us. He helped carry the stroller, navigated busy streets effortlessly, and handled my son with such calm and care. It made the entire day feel stress-free and enjoyable. He showed us so many highlights of Tokyo, including Meiji Shrine, Yoyogi Park, the adorable Pignic Café, Takeshita Street in Harajuku, Noa purikura (the cutest photo booth!), Shibuya Crossing, and the Statue of Hachiko. Each stop felt thoughtful and perfectly tailored to exploring the city with a little one. Melody also gave us fantastic suggestions for the rest of our trip, which we’ve already started using. If you’re travelling with kids (or even if you’re not) I cannot recommend Melody highly enough. He made our Tokyo adventure truly special, and my son absolutely adored him. Thank you, Melody, for helping us create such beautiful memories!

Alexandra, thank you for the most wonderful day in Tokyo, too. It was such a calm and sunny morning. We walked through a shrine, played with mini pigs, took photos in a Japanese photo booth, got addicted to capsule toys, and enjoyed the Shibuya Crossing. Your son is so sweet and adorable! I loved singing funny songs and making silly faces to make him smile during the tour. Can’t wait for you to come back to Tokyo!

A splendid tour with Melody

Hi Melody, Thank you so much for the wonderful day you gave us. Your tour was excitingly special and different with the heart of anime, manga, and electronic culture, Japanese girls as anime figures in maid cafes, and then a beautiful Shinto shrine and the imperial Palace. The old and the new. The living, vibrant city and the dead city. The Tokyo you showed us was fascinatingly different. Especially the unexpected and the non-touristy. A chrysanthemum display with flowerpots containing figurines and houses. The 'Shibuya crossing'—the most famous intersection in the world with six zebra crossings in different directions and thousands of people—was an experience. Sea anemone sashimi in the fish market restaurant was delicious, 'oishi.' On top of it all your personal explanations about Japanese life were super interesting and I'm saying that as a very curious journalist! I will highly recommend your services to my friends around the globe. Arigato Melody San!

Simone, thank you for the excellent review. It was the luckiest surprise that we met to know each other. I’m pretty sure you enjoyed very peaceful and energetic time in Tokyo. We walked 15 kilometers in one day and it is a new record, haha! Also, as a professional journalist, you gave me many intriguing perspectives not only about Japan but also about the world. Wish you the best. Arigato Simone San!
