Rieko was very cool. She was able to sense that we were all used up on the strenuous 3 days tokyo tour. She very patient waiting for the rest of family to catch up with the phase. She explained briefly the history and the transition of rulers in Japan in the Rikugien Gardens. The garden was picturesque just in time with the yellow, red and green autumn leaves. Lunch was great and have a quick kitkat all flavor buying. Rieko also guided us and wait till the skyliner take off from the ueno station to the Narita Airport. It was a very regarding 7 hours and definitely, enjoy again the company of GowithGuide tours in our next teip to Japan. Polite, well mannered and lots of patience on the tour guides will definitely make the visit pleasurable.
Thank you so much for your great review. I am very glad that you and your family liked the tour and lunch. You were exactly just in time for autumn leaves. And I hope that I will meet you again in spring. I had a really good time with you and your lovely family. It is my pleasure to have you and share a memorable time in Japan. I am looking forward to see you soon. Thank you again and see you soon! Rieko
Azabu is close to our hotel, but we never spent time there. Interesting to see how the neighborhood homes, shops, restaurants and establishments all fit together within this area. Seeing tofu making and sampling the product was much appreciated.
Paul san, Thank you for your warm review. I had a pleasant time with you. It was a great opportunity for me to get to know such active people like you, and I am very happy to let you know a piece of our everyday life that is not touristic. Hope I will see you again in Japan and explore another off the beaten path someday. Thank you again and stay safe. Rieko
We had a day with Rieko san at Azabu Juban, which included a tofu making session. And it turned out to be a most enjoyable day for us - Rieko san speaks very good English and showed us around an area which we have never been before - Azabu Juban - the atmosphere was very nice - not overly crowded and lots of nice shops - confectionery, souvenirs, eateries, etc. We like the area a lot. And she explained the background and walked us to a Shinto shrine and a Buddhist temple. The tofu session was really fun - it was a small tofu factory, and we got to taste various tofu products as well as making (final portion of it) actual tofu. The tofu was premium tofu and tastes fantastic! An outing for us that was really enjoyable! Rieko san, thanks so much for showing us around today!
Kenneth san, Gnoon Hon san, Wow! What a great review. Thank you so much for your lots of warm words. I also had a good time with you today. Azabu-Juban is one of my favorite places in Tokyo and I am very happy that you enjoyed the tour and the tofu making session very much. And it is a really pity the tofu factory has to relocate. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan and a safe flight to your country with a lot of good memories. I wish to visit your beautiful country someday and see you there. Thank you again and take care.
Rieko was an amazing guide and made a memorable day for my mother and I! She got us around the Tokyo area efficiently and we were able to do everything on the itinerary on good time. Rieko is reserved and professional, and I highly suggest booking a tour with her.
