See Tokyo’s hidden treasures

A truely memorable and meaningful experience seeing aspects of Tokyo with Chiaki as my guide. She was full of knowledge on culture, gardens, religion and off the beaten path experiences. Thank you Chiaki for a wonderful few days seeing the real Tokyo with you.

Thank you Margo, for your lovely words! I enjoyed being with you and all the talking in the days together. So you accomplished the journey through Kumano-Kodo trail! It must have been cold but beautiful…You are amazing! Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip and safely go back home! Thank you again!

Fantastic Tour with Chiaki

We enjoyed a wonderful day with Chiaki. She took us to Shibamata (Taishakuten Temple). In the same area was a traditional, historic Japanese residence with a garden. Chiaki pointed out fascinating historical and cultural details. We then went to Fukagawa Fudodo Temple and were honored to attend its fire ceremony. Wow! It was incredible. Our last stop was the Imperial Palace, but not before we had a delicious lunch of Katsudon as requested! We had a perfect tour and learned so much. We will cherish the memories of our day with Chiaki and will always think of her when we remember our Tokyo trip.

Dear Merrie, thank you so much for your beautiful review! I’m delighted to hear that you enjoyed our day together in Shibamata. It was a beautiful and peaceful day, perfect to explore the Japanese gardens! I’m so glad to hear the powerful fire ceremony left you a strong impression. And thank you for the delicious Katsudon! It was a joy spending the day with you and Jim. Your kind words mean so much to me, and I am touched that you will remember your trip with such warm feelings. Hope to see you again in Tokyo! Thank you again and take care!

Tokyo Half-Day Customized Tour

This was our second time touring with Chiaki. Both times she took our copious written requests and developed a reasonable and flexible itinerary which resulted in a lovely and efficient tour focused mainly on local crafts, kitchen wares, ceramics, chocolate and coffee. We also slipped into Kiyosumi Gardens with 3 minutes to spare for a sunset stroll around the pond which was absolutely beautiful. Chiaki is very easy to talk with and shared stories of her life in Tokyo along with ideas for future tours. We highly recommend Chiaki! And will definitely engage with her when we return next year! Thank you for a wonderful day.
