- It is also possible to arrange the meeting point at JR Nippori Station, the nearest station. If you prefer to eliminate travel time from your hotel to the tour location, this option is available.
Old Temple & Last Shogun's Tomb
Here, we'll explore historical temple from the Edo period, Yanaka Kannon Temple and its distinctive Tsuiji walls which are a traditional form of earthen wall. We'll begin by visiting the Yanaka Cemetery, where we will see the grave of Tokugawa Yoshinobu, the last shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate. This site offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of Japan's transition from the Edo period to the modern era.
Yanaka Ginza
Next, we'll visit Yanaka Ginza, a bustling shopping street known for its lively atmosphere and traditional charm. Here, you can enjoy a delightful experience of "tabearuki," or eating while walking, sampling a variety of local snacks and treats.Take your time to explore the many shops offering everything from handmade crafts to fresh produce. Yanaka Ginza provides a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life of the locals and discover unique, hidden gems. Hebi-Michi - Snake Road
Next, we'll walk along the narrow alley known as Hebi-michi, or "Snake Path," named for its winding curves. This narrow alley, which connects Yanaka and Nezu, offers a delightful walking experience. As you stroll through the old downtown atmosphere, you can feel the essence of local life. You'll encounter stylish shops worth exploring along the way. The warm, relaxed atmosphere flows through this area. If you're getting tired of the typical tourist spots, it might be time to venture into these narrow alleys. Experience the lives of the people who reside here and enjoy the quaint charm and hidden treasures along the way.
Nezu Shrine
Explore the Historic Nezu Shrine
Nezu Shrine dates back over 1,900 years. Stroll through the thousand vermilion torii gates leading to Otome Inari Shrine within the grounds.
In spring, approximately 3,000 azalea bushes bloom beautifully within the shrine grounds.

Nezu station
We'll travel from Nezu Subway Station to the hotel, where we'll conclude our tour. If you prefer to end the tour at Nezu Station, we can adjust the ending time accordingly.
