Hi, I'm Yoko, a National License Tour Guide&International Kikisake-shi.
I speak with an American accent, 'cause I lived in Seattle, Washington for six years in my childhood(3-9 years old). My tours might be better with people who LOVE TO WALK, have STAMINA and keen to learn about the culture.
Now I live within a walking distance from Ueno Park, Tokyo, so I see a lot of International tourists walking around in my neighborhood every day.
(PLEASE CHECK EACH TOUR. The expenses are spelled out, too.)
"Tokyo is larger than we thought and the transportations are so complicated," Swedish guys told me. I'm here to help you. I know well about Tokyo, Yokohama, Yamanashi etc. and I travel most of the parts of Japan.
I would appreciate if you could see more sightseeing spots with me as your guide and enjoy your stay.
I love to answer your questions, even though I became nearly breathless when I was with American guests, a family of three, curiously asking me questions after questions:-)
I appreciated their interest in Japan very much.
I also go mountain trekking for nearly thirty years. I've been to the summit of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kitadake three times. Talking about Mt. Takao, maybe more than fifty times.
I hope we can enjoy the beautiful view together.
I'm looking forward to seeing you soon and having a good time together.
Hope to hearing from you soon.

“Yoko is a powerhouse”
Yoko was guiding us through the masses of Tokyo with great pace and knowledge even though we were quite tired after de 14 hour flight so was really helful of extending our tour to two day shorter tours . Highly recommended.

Wow, thank you so much for a great review, Sir. It was a great pleasure for me to guide you and your great family. I really loved talking with your wife who expressed so much positive comments about East Gardens and Meiji Jingu Shrine etc. I was also amazed with the politeness of the younger group including your beautiful and active daughters. I hope you enjoyed more sake after the ones at Asakusa and other spots in Japan. Thank you so much again!!

“Tokyo tour with a pro”
Loved the time we spent with Yoko in Tokyo. We had planned for a trip to Mt Fuji initially, but as the weather was very unfavourable, Yoko offered to show us around some of the most interesting sites in the city. She knows Tokyo inside out, spoke perfect English, and was very pleasant company all throughout. I ended up regretting that I did not book more days with her, but I am thankful for the one I had. Otsukaresama deshita.

I really appreciate your great review. I had so much fun with you, your wife Ioana and your friends. I was deeply amazed with your group reading SHOGUN and the numbers of Japanese movies you saw before you came to Japan. I still believe Mount Fuji is the most beautiful in February. I will dream of you coming back with your daughter some day. I hope you have a nice flight back tomorrow. Arigato gozaimashita!! Thank you again for the wonderful time. See you!!

“Amazing tour with Yoko who made our trip so special”
We had a fabulous day out with Yoko san today. She perfectly captured our interests based on methodical pre-planning conversations and showed us a side of Tokyo we had not seen before. She carefully listened to our interests and curated an itinerary that ticked all the boxes. History, art, a wonderful visit to the Imperial Gardens, fabulous food and a real feeling of being privy to some of the local haunts. Yoko san went out of her way to help us with our future travel beyond Tokyo. She was tireless in ensuring we knew where to go to catch our Shinkansen and had our suica cards set up. We can’t praise Yoko san highly enough. She was an informative, caring and considerate host. We will certainly book her again on our next visit to Tokyo. Thank you Yoko san; you made today very special for us.

I really appreciate you writing a sugoi review just after the tour. I was glad you didn't have trouble with walking so much even we walked maybe more than 20000 steps together. I felt quite lucky that you made so much positive comments about all the places we visited. I hope you have a lovely trip of Nakasendo from tomorrow. Thank you so much again, Therese san and David san, for the lovely day. I will be looking forward to seeing you again in your future trip.
