You can see bonsai in hotels and shops during your stay in Japan, but you have few chance to learn it systematically. In this tour, your can not only acquire knowledge about bonsai but also become interested in bonsai at only village named bonsai in Japan. The whole town with bonsai-like atmosphere in one square kilometer will attract you. Then you will fully enjoy Japanese beauty.

Three Bonsai Schools and The Bonsai House of the Four Seasons
You will visit three different types of the bonsai schools, such as Fuyouen, Seikouen and Manseien. In the Bonsai House of the Four Seasons, you will take a break while seeing sunken hearth. In addition, you can not only appreciate bonsai, but also buy bonsai tools and pots.
Bonsai Art Museum
A wide variety of valuable bonsai are displayed. It includes five needle pine bonsai called Seiryu (blue dragon) and Chiyonomatsu ( thousand years) and so on. Basically every bonsai schools doesn't allow you to take a picture inside, but it is possible in the museum.
Omiya station
You will take a late lunch around Omiya.
Rikugien Garden
It is one of the most famous daimyo garden whose pond is placed in the center and surrounded by different types of trees and rocks. You can enjoy traditional Japanese garden rich in beautiful scenery while walking around the pond.

maintain bonsai
◆ This tour is not conducted on every Thursday because bonsai village is closed.
◆ I am afraid that every bonsai is so valuable that children under age of 12 are not allowed not to give damage to them.
◆ It doesn't include experience you make a bonsai.
◆ Please let me know if you have any food restrictions.
