• This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

• Several places we will visit do not accept credit cards, so please bring cash.

• In case of rain, it would be difficult to walk for a long time. I will show you other experiences such as museums or activities indoors.

You could go around all the major spots in Eastern Tokyo just for one day! (Could be changed in part to options or other areas.)

The tour schedule will be customized according to your tastes, which would be the only Eastern Tokyo tour specially arranged for you !

Eastern Tokyo is the traditional area in Tokyo, where Edo government started its rule in 1600, as the center of Japan.

I will show you what's special with Eastern Tokyo, while walking together!

If you are interested in special spots, following options are recommended, instead of some basic ones.

1. "Option 1) Odaiba is the subcultural area where every family can enjoy half day.

2. Option 2) Cruising is the exclusive transportation from Asakusa to Odaiba on sunny day.

(There are some kinds of tickets and some booking sites. If you are interested in, I will tell you the best way to book depending on your situation after booking my tour.)

3. Option 3) Sky Tree is close to Asakusa. We recommend booking tickets beforehand online.

Hello, potential tourists!

I'm Yuko, Yokohama local tour guide with English government license.

I have been living in Yokohama for 40 years, and have been working in Tokyo for 35 years; 20 years as a business person,10 years as a teacher, then I became a tour guide in 2015.

Yokohama is a major port city, and the 2nd largest city in Japan.

It is one of the most popular sightseeing spots for Japanese tourists as well.

However, for non-Japanese guests who are to experience things unique to Japan,

without a tour guide, it could not be so stimulating, - a beautiful harbor, traditional garden, fashionable shopping mall, which could be likely to appear not so different from Tokyo, or other Western or Asian port cities.

Actually, Yokohama is very special for Japan !

Without Yokohama, Japan would not have been developed into what it is now!

Would you find real attraction of Yokohama with me ?

Also I'm familiar with Tokyo, an urban city and Kamakura, an ancient city.

“Fabulous Customized Tour With Yuko”

Yuko treated my family to a wonderfully diverse and fun-filled Tokyo tour that everyone from ages 14 to 75 thoroughly enjoyed. From winding our way through various train hubs to ride the complex Japanese public transportation system, to getting good fortune at a Buddist temple, eating delicious monja prepared tableside by talented waiters in a famous restaurant, visiting the picturesque Odaiba area for some beautiful foto ops, popping in and out of ceramic and kitchen supply shops for the 2 chefs in our family, learning Samurai and Ninja history, and finding a small, out of the way melon bread shop, it was a full day of sensory experiences. Yuko went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had the best first day in Tokyo. A huge thank you to Yuko, our knowledgeable and welcoming tour guide, for all her hard work behind the scenes to pull off this very special tour.
