This tour highlights the must-see cultural places in Tokyo.
First, we will enter the entrance of temple via Kaminarimon Gate with its famous red lantern. Then, we move on to Nakamise Shopping Street,the best place in Tokyo to buy souvenirs and enjoy traditional Japanese snacks.
Next, you will be awed by the grandeur and history of Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Shrine is next to it. You will learn about Buddhism and Shinto and how they co-exist in Japan.
For lunch, Asakusa is filled with a variety of traditional Japanese cuisine, such as tempura (deep-fried seafood and vegetables), soba (buckwheat noodles), unagi (charcoal-broiled eel with rice) and many more.
Our last stop will be Kappabashi Kitchen Utensils Street, a beloved spot for professional and amateur chefs. You can scan and buy a treasure trove of kitchenware, plastic food samples and crockery.
We will walk the entire time so please wear comfortable shoes.
