You don't have much time in Tokyo? I will show you in 6 hours the Must-See attractions of the city.
I will pick you up at your hotel and we will move around on foot using public transport.
We will visit Tokyo Must-See places : Senso-ji temple in Asakusa, the outer garden of the Imperial Palace, Meji-jingu shrine and Takeshita street and we will end with the famous Shibuya district.

Asakusa : Senso-ji temple
Senso-ji temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Tokyo.
I will tell you the history of the temple and its legends. I will show you how to purify yourself before entering the temple, pray, and we will draw an Omikuji.
Imperial palace
We will visit the outer garden of the Imperial Palace and walk along the moat and the outer enclosure of the castle to the famous Nijubashi Bridge. I will tell you the history of Edo Castle and the story of the Imperial Palace.
Meiji-jingu Shrine
The Meiji-jingu Shrine is located in the middle of a forest. It is a small haven of peace in the middle of Tokyo. The souls of Emperor Meiji and his wife rest there in peace. We will discover how to wash our hands in the Temizuya and say a Shinto prayer. We will then be able to write a wish on an Ema tablet and draw a special Omikuji to meditate on.
Takeshita Street
Takeshita Street is known for being the birthplace of new Japanese fashion trends. It is the epicenter of Tokyo's youthful and colorful culture. It is full of street food like multi-colored cotton candy or potato spirals. You can also pet animals, sip bubble tea and try to win the gachapon of your dreams.
Shibuya
Shibuya is the largest entertainment and shopping district in the capital. It is the meeting place for young people. The famous Shibuya scramble is the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world. I will tell you the story of Hachi the loyal dog and take you up to visit the viewpoints from where you can photograph the famous crossing.

The tour will end at Shibuya station. I will explain how to go back to your hotel on your own.

“Giornata ad Hakone”
Virginie ci ha portato ad Hakone partendo da Tokyo. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, è stata disponibile e accogliente, dandoci tutte le informazioni e spiegazioni necessarie. Nonostante la pioggia il tour è stato interessante e divertente. Sicuramente una guida su cui poter fare affidamento.

It was my first time in Tokyo. I booked virginie for 2 days. Virginie my guide, was very welcoming, helpful and had an extensvie knowledge and understanding of the culture and history. We went to a few temples and shrines, she took me to the best place to have a strawberry mochi. Virginie helped me navigate the trains and how to access them. We had the best time learning and exploring the hot spots in Tokyo. I would definitely recommemd virgine as to anyone wanting to see the city.

Ueno and Yanaka
Ueno is a popular district of Tokyo. The open market of Ameyayokocho, a black market that appeared at the end of the war that sold candy and American products. The first public park in Japan, there are seven museums, a zoo and many temples and shrines. Yanaka is a residential district of Tokyo that escaped the bombs, known for its Machiya-style wooden houses, a large cemetery where the last shogun is buried, Buddhist temples and the Yanaka Ginza shopping street.
