“Amazing tour guide. Knowledgeable, friendly and filled with smiles”
We had an amazing day filled with laughter, fun and great experiences. Melody is very knowledgeable about Tokyo and made sure that we knew everything about our day that he helped plan. We had alot of fun and 1 highlight was the maid bar, a must see. We highly recommend him and would definitely use him again in the future tou will not be disappointed. Also he is very funny and makes you feel like you are a part of his own family. Great job.

Jamie, thank you so much for your wonderful review! We were laughing throughout the entire tour, and I think that was because all of you were such kind and fun people. We visited a museum, temple, fish market, the starting point of Japan’s milestone system, and the anime district together. The photos were especially unique — samurai armor, kimono, your family’s favorite maid, and Godzilla! I’m sure these pictures will go viral on your influencer social media accounts as well. I’m already looking forward to seeing you again, talking more, and taking many more photos together someday!

“What a fun morning!”
We wanted to get a glimpse into the Tokyo that tourists don't normally see. Tourists typically miss many quiet neighborhoods and miss how the people of Tokyo live their daily lives. We felt it was important to learn about the history of the city and its people and Melody did a fantastic job helping us meet our goal. He was great at working with us to customize our time with him. We couldn't have asked for a better tour!

George, thank you very much for the wonderful review and posting the beautiful photos. You gave me a very unique request: to experience everyday life in Tokyo on a holiday morning. During the tour, we explored a shrine for love, quiet backstreets lined with traditional Japanese restaurants, a temple visited mostly by locals, a famous cake every Japanese person knows but most foreign tourists don’t, an under the railway tracks izakaya for salarymen, a DVD booth, Japan’s historical milestone bridge, and even enjoyed a yakitori lunch. You asked so many thoughtful and interesting questions throughout the tour, and it was truly an honor for me to answer all of them. I hope you continue enjoying Japan, and I look forward to seeing you all again someday!

“Outstanding, Flexible and Authentic Tour”
During my stay in Japan I had the honour to spend a half day tour with Melody. We had a fantastic time at a maid cafe, where Melody was able to teach a lot about the different styles of maid cafes in Japan. As I have very limited Japanese he was able to help me talk with the maids and ensure I had the best possible experience. As Melody is quite popular there we found that staff were frequently coming to chat and create a very warm environment. Aside from the maid cafe, we also went shopping through Electric Town and music shops in Ochanomizu where I found a fantastic deal on some equipment. Melody was extremely helpful with these and did some research in advance, it was truly an above and beyond experience. The tour was very flexible, accommodating and felt like spending a day with a good friend. Nothing felt too structured or sanitised, so I was able to have a very natural and authentic experience. During the tour we also came across other places for me to visit later in my trip. Having learned a lot from Melody I was able to confidently visit a maid bar we went past in Akihabara, and it was absolutely one of the most fun nights in my entire life. I cannot recommend Melody highly enough. Please be sure to book some time with him to make the most out of your visit.

Thank you, William! During those four short hours, we talked about so many things as close friends. The electronic parts shops and electric guitars were so cool. The maid cafe was also a lot of fun because we got to talk with many maids. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, it was such a wonderful night. The fact that you joined my tour was one of the happiest things for me, and the wonderful review you wrote is my greatest pride. My dear friend, let’s meet again someday!

Akihabara Maid Cafe Tour by Former Maid Cafe Manager
The first maid cafe was started in Akihabara. Nowadays, there are around 200 maid cafes alone in Akihabara. Maids will welcome guests of all genders, generations, and nationalities, but some have difficulties in English communication. No problem. I can help you talk to them! The good news is that I was a manager at one of the largest maid cafe chains and led 40 maids. Other Otaku activities are also included in the tour. Hopefully, all anime, pop idol, and gadget Otaku can enjoy the tour!
