This ramen shop is named "Shinagawa," but it is not by any means located in the local Tokyo neighborhood Shinagawa. It is actually located near the Kanamechou train station in Toshima, Tokyo.

Shinagawa is a ramen restaurant chosen for the 2014 Michelin Guide and categorized under the Bib Gourmand restaurants, which are selected restaurants all over the world that are deemed by Michelin inspectors give good food for a good value.

As all good ramen restaurants in Tokyo, Shinagawa is also lined up by many customers. From solo goers to families, Shinagawa appeals to a variety of customers male and female of all ages.

Their menu is limited to a few ramen selections like all the other good ramen restaurants. They have Chuuka Soba Ramen, Niboshi Ramen, etc. Their noodles by itself are thick and not that delicious, but tastes great once combined with the rich flavor of their soup. The toppings include the normal 2 slices of chashu, menma, nori, and gg.

Although the appearance of their ramen are unlike that of the usual fancy ramen restaurants, just sipping their ramen soup will give you a good sensation of balance with the neat noodles that will slip through your throat.
