In search of the key to open Kagoshima's treasure chest!
Kagoshima is blessed with many volcanoes, a mild climate and a lot of rain. People have survived on barren volcanic ash plateaus. Currently, the agricultural production is the highest in Japan and marine resources are also abundant. Relatively close ancestors started the industrial revolution along with the social revolution for modernization in Japan. Western countries hailed this as an oriental miracle. Please enjoy the trip to find many of Kagoshima's secret keys.

Kagoshima Tour Reviews

“A Warm and Personal Day in Kagoshima with Sini”
We were two couples visiting Kagoshima for one day during our cruise stop, and Sini made the whole day very comfortable, personal and easy for us. She welcomed us warmly at the cruise terminal, and from the beginning everything felt relaxed and well organized. Together we took the ferry to the volcanic island near Kagoshima, where she drove us around and showed us the area in a very pleasant way. She also included some nice walking parts, so we could experience the places more closely. One of the special moments was when she brought us to a hot spring foot bath in a park, where local people come to rest and soak their feet. Sini had even prepared small towels for each of us, which was such a thoughtful and hospitable detail. Back in Kagoshima, she drove us through the city, took us to see the statue of the last samurai, and also brought us up to a viewpoint where we could enjoy a beautiful city view from above. Later, she helped us choose an interesting local restaurant, and at the end she brought us safely back to our cruise ship. Sini is a very kind, gentle and attentive person. We really felt that she wanted to give us as much as possible and make our day special. With her car and personal care, the tour even felt a little like a VIP experience — we could simply relax, enjoy the views and even have a beer along the way. We are very grateful for her kindness, hospitality and warm personality. We can highly recommend Sini to anyone visiting Kagoshima.

It was such a surprise and a joy to hear from you.I’m thrilled that you felt like you had a "VIP experience" — that is exactly what I hope for all my guests! I had a great time driving you around and sharing the stories of my city. The foot bath is one of my favorite local spots, and I’m so glad the towels came in handy.Helping you find a local restaurant and seeing you off at the cruise terminal are fond memories for me. Thank you for being so kind and easy-going.I wish you all the best in your future travels. Please come back and see me again in Kagoshima! (Sini)

“Super Sini - our Guide for Kagoshima ”
Sini was brilliant. She was able to flex our starting time as our cruise was departing early. We visited Sengen palace and amazing gardens and glass factory and concluded with stopping at the Observatory view point. She was so knowledgable of the details and her English language was great. We would use Sini again when we visit next time.
