“Golden Day with Yoshi”
My wife and I were blessed to have booked Yoshihisa for his Golden Route Tour. Although the tour entailed a full day visiting many diffent temples and shrines we were never rushed. Yoshi has a very strong knowledge of the history and stories behind the sites we visited that goes beyond the typical guide script. We enjoyed a bowl of tasty ramen and cold beer for lunch and to top the day off he invited us to join him at his favorite izakaya spot in local neignborhood. Great overall experience.

“Great day with Mana!”
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Mana's Fushimi & Uji tour. What was scheduled as a 4hr tour ended up 6 hours as she wanted to show us a few extra sites without any additional expectations. A very knowledgable, professional lady who was fun to spend the day with!

Dear Michal Thank you very much for sending me the highest rating review. I’m truly delighted that you enjoyed and appreciated my hometown, which is famous for green tea. I must admit I felt a little nervous in that tearoom, as it’s a place where it’s quite rare to get a reservation—and afterward, I almost made a big mistake! The words written on the hanging scroll in the tearoom meant, “Autumn is approaching, and the weather is getting colder. Please take good care of yourself.” I wish you a wonderful rest of your days in Japan! Mana

Absolutely! Kyoto has achieved the perfect balance of remaining close to its historical roots as Japan's original capital, rich in culture and customs, while including modern conveniences and tourist-friendly services. It's one of Japan's most tour-conscious cities, next to Tokyo.
That's a tough one! Kyoto has history, slow living, and breathtaking landscapes. Osaka has fantastic food and modern conveniences and is slightly more affordable.
Osaka is great for;
Kyoto is ideal for;
The greatest thing about these two cities is that they're just a train ride away from one another. So whichever you decide, the other option is only 15 minutes away.
Kyoto is often considered more beautiful than Tokyo because of the visually stunning architecture and Edo period buildings, especially those that highlight the nagare-zukuri style. It’s almost like a time machine. City lovers will consider Tokyo more beautiful thanks to its glowing billboards, high-end hotels, buzzing restaurants, and nightlife. Our recommendation? See both and decide for yourself. Tokyo and Kyoto are only 2 hours apart.
