Naomi K.
Hello, I’m Naomi, a certified guide. I live in the peaceful countryside of Hiroshima, where I am a rice farmer, writer, and mother of three. Our family resides in a 200-year-old traditional farmhouse, surrounded by nature and history. I began learning English again at the age of 40, and although I don’t have much overseas experience, guiding visitors has become one of my greatest joys. Sharing Japan through my own eyes makes every encounter exciting and meaningful. I love welcoming people and building connections across cultures. If my hospitality can add a special touch to your journey in Japan, it would bring me great happiness. I look forward to meeting you—thank you!

Seiya S.
Hello, my name is Seiya, a local tour guide in the Kansai region. I was born and raised in Osaka. Growing up in Osaka made me understand its culture, mindset, and people. I also often travel overseas myself(Recent favourite is India!) and interact with local people, making me understand non-Japanese people's perspective on this country. I am particularly interested in Japanese history, religion, and traditional culture. During my time living in Kyoto, I developed a strong curiosity about temples, shrines, and the ideas behind them, and I enjoy sharing these insights in a clear and easy-to-understand way. I welcome questions and conversations, and I am happy to adjust the tour based on your interests and pace. I am also a photographer, soI would be happy to photograph you with my beloved 35mm film camera. Film photo has a nostalgic warmth, creating timeless photos that stay close to your heart! Looking forward to seeing you soon! I am not available from April to October. Thank you for your understanding.

Aiko K.
Hi, I’m Aiko! I love connecting with people and communicating in English, and that’s what led me to start this work. I’ve always wanted to interact with travelers directly and share the charm of the places I call home. While studying abroad, I often talked about Japan with people from different countries. Not only famous destinations like Tokyo and Kyoto, but also my hometown, Gunma, which I truly believe is a wonderful place worth discovering. I enjoy traveling around my local area even on my days off, and I’d love to share that side of Japan with you. I have studied abroad in the Philippines and later spent about a year and a half living mainly in Vancouver, Canada. During that time, I studied at a vocational school while gaining hands-on experience through internships such as cruise planning, SNS marketing, and English conversation programs for Japanese learners. I also worked part-time as a restaurant server, where I interacted with tourists on a daily basis. My goal is to offer experiences that make you think, “I want to come back to Japan again!” I’m really looking forward to meeting you and helping make your trip meaningful and enjoyable through fun conversations and shared experiences :)

Hiroshima: A journey of memory, Resilience and Peace
Discover Hiroshima's quiet strength and resilience as we visit Shukkeien, Peace Memorial Park, the Schmoe House. Alongside Hiroshima's well-known landmarks, this tour includes the Schmoe House- a meaningful hidden gem. Floyd Schmoe, an American who was deeply saddened by the news of atomic bombing, volunteered to build homes for Hiroshima's people. By including this quietly moving, lesser-known place, the tour highlits both Hiroshima's past and compassion that helped the city rebuild.

“The Perfect Guide To Help Me Get Started”
I booked a full day with Akira on my first day in Tokyo. I had never been to Japan, and being a solo traveler I didn't want to have to try and figure it all out, especially jet-lagged. I basically asked Akira to be my friend for the day, show me how to get around, and show me places where the tourists don't go. He delivered 110%! I have spent the last two weeks zipping around this amazing city, using the rail system with ease, and seeing all kinds of places where tourists are rare. I have connected with so many people here and have so many stories to bring home and fond memories. I might have eventually figured things out without Akira's help, but I'm sure that I would have wasted a lot of the limited time I had. Thank you Akira! If you are thinking about using him, don't hesitate, you will be glad you did it, just like me! Akira, again, thank you for helping make this such a memorable trip!

Akira N.
Dear Lonnie, Thank you so much for the great review. I am so glad that the day we spent together made a good kick start for your very first Japan trip. Reading your review, I sensed that the trip was very enjoyable and memorable and it was my pleasure to be a part of it. Amid the ongoing craze of over tourism, it was my joy to be your guide, especially for someone as generous, kind, and respectful of the locals and their culture as you. I want you to know that your friend in Tokyo will always be ready to show you around his loving city, and country, for your next opportunity (maybe with your loving wife). Thank you so much again for having me as your guide this time. See you next time! Sincerely, Akira

“Yanagawa river cruise with twin 3 year olds”
Hi we had a group of 8 people which was five adults and three children. Kazue was on time we took the train to do the river cruise and trying to navigate with two strollers was challenging but we were allowed to pack the strollers on the boat. There's two cruises one from the train station to the town and another for the town. We had an eel lunch and learned about strawberries from the nearby stand. It was a great trip and she gave us advice on how to get around the mall that we lived nearby.
