There are lots of sightseeing spots in Tokyo. I will arrange a customized one-day tour based upon your requirements so that you could enjoy your stay in Tokyo. We can discuss and decide places to visit effectively for a limited amount of time. One example is shown here as follows, but I'm sure I will take you to some of my best selections so that you could enjoy both of traditional and modern culture. I can arrange an appropriate lunch restaurant based upon your requirement.

Meeting Point
At your hotel in Tokyo
Imperial Palace East Garden
Located in the center of Tokyo, the Imperial Palace area is one of the most symbolic sightseeing spots. You can see precious historic remains like magnificent gates, stone walls of Edo Castle founded in 17th century as well as walking in the strolling style Japanese garden.
Tsukiji Outer Market
Although the Tokyo Wholesale Market moved to Toyosu, Outer Market still remains in Tsukiji. You can enjoy a hustle and bustle atmosphere with some food while walking.
Asakusa
There are both of Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Shrine which are the symbols of Japanese religious facilities of Buddhism and Shinto. Many services like kimono rental and riding rickshaw are available for visitors. And you can also enjoy shopping Japanese traditional souvenirs in Nakamise which is one of the oldest shopping streets in Tokyo.
Meiji Jingu Shrine
This shrine was built to honor the spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort Empress Shoken in 1920. The Emperor and Empress were not only venerated but also loved by the Japanese people. The sacred manmade forest created by considerable donations and volunteer works makes you to feel peaceful mind in the solemn and noble atmosphere.
Ginza, Shibuya, Harajuku, or Shinjuku
I'll take you to one of the famous modern district based upon your requirement so that you could enjoy shopping and dinner there.

I am available from 9am to 5pm everyday.
I am flexible to one day trip to Hakone, Lake Kawaguchi and Nikko if you pay my transportation fee on top of the tour in Tokyo.

Hello, I'm Yoshi!! I started my second career as a tour guide after retiring from the Japanese computer company I had worked for about 40 years. I was born in Asakusa and grew up in down town in Tokyo. I am married with two daughters and three grandchildren, two girls and a boy.

“Terrific Day in Kamakura with Yoshi”
If you are looking for a great day trip outside Tokyo, Yoshi curated a terrific one day itinerary. Not only did we see three temples and a shrine, we experienced drinking matcha in a bamboo forest, learned about Shinto and Buddhism, strolled through gorgeous gardens, and were educated us on how to eat cold soba noodles with tempura properly. He also helped us navigate the subway and bus system with multiple transfers, which we would have had difficulty with otherwise. We saw and did and learned so much more than we could have on our own. We could not recommend Yoshi more highly!

“Bustling Kamakura”
Yoshi communicated with us well in the lead up to our tour and was well prepared with insights to share. He helped us find vegetarian food options. enabling us to have our first authentic Japanese meal so far (delicious soba). Kamakura locations have many stairs. So be aware of this if you have mobility issues. There is still a lot to enjoy even without doing all of the climbs.

“An excellent guide with an excellent itinerary”
Yoshi was a very fun and very informative guide. He waited patiently whenever we had to stop for pictures and gave us a very detailed history of every location we visited. Our group felt very comfortable asking any questions we had throughout the tour. Even beforehand, I asked and gave details about my ideal tour and Yoshi was ready with a plan to discuss within hours.
