“Wishing Pancho was our guide everywhere in Japan”
The visit to Hiroshima was powerful and emotionally intense—especially hearing the story firsthand from someone whose family lived through the bombing. It was profound. Pancho planned the day perfectly, allowing time not only to absorb the weight of Hiroshima but also to visit Miyajima Island and its iconic floating torii gate. Afterward, we returned with enough time to walk through the Peace Park and finish at the museum. This sequence matters: the museum is an incredibly heavy experience, so ending the day there feels right. What sets Pancho apart is more than his flawless timing. He’s warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely likeable. His storytelling comes from a balanced, middle perspective, which makes it even more compelling. Pancho turned what was already an important visit into one of the most memorable experiences of our two weeks in Japan. Both he—and this deeply meaningful tour—are not to be missed.

Hi Patrick, thank you so much for your wonderful review to the tour! That was a great day, not only for you and your company, but also to me as a guide and local too. I really glad that day was memorable. We enjoyed perfect timing to see the floating torii gate at perfect timing. Visiting Atomic-Bomd Dome, hearing stories are too emotional, some tours provides you only from limited perspectives. However, I really happy/proud to hear we shared middle perspectives stories, feelings which I really pay attention, thank you! On top on that, I was happy to introduce our local comfort food, and "pickey eaters(according to you)" liked it, finished all:-) as an unofficial Hiroshima-style Okonomiyajiki ambassadar. Thank you for joining, that was a memorable day to me too, Have a nice trip! Pancho

“A perfect day on Miyajima ”
This tour was fantastic and a definite highlight of our trip to Japan. We took the ferry from the peace park which was excellent and gave our achy feet a nice rest! Miyajima is a beautiful, quaint island, showing a completely different side of Hiroshima. Very scenic views of the floating Tori gate enjoyed from the temple. Pancho guided us at a perfect pace around the island, highlighting all the perfect photo spots. He also very kindly showed us the Japanese maple cake shop which allowed us to try the flavours before buying- beautiful freshly baked cakes. A lovely day exploring Miyajima with Pancho, highly recommended. Arigato gozaimasu Pancho-san

Dear Katie, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedbacks again! I'm delighted that you loved the Instagram-worthy photo spots I shared with you. From the iconic floating torii gate to those hidden scenic corners, capturing these perfect moments is such an important part of your travel memories. Your feedback about our touring pace means a lot to me. I always aim to balance giving everyone enough time to appreciate each site while covering all the island's highlights comfortably. I'm especially happy that you enjoyed the local sweets I introduced you to! Miyajima's traditional confections like momiji manju are such a delicious way to connect with the island's culture. Thank you again for joining the tour both Hiroshima and Miyajima. I really enjoyed having you all for 2 days, enyoed conversation during the tour too! Pancho

“A fantastic tour of Hiroshima”
We very much enjoyed a very interesting tour of Hiroshima with Pancho. We are a group of 7 with varying levels of fitness and Pancho did a fantastic job of adapting the tour to suit us all. He was very thoughtful in ensuring the pace and distance of the tour was just perfect for everyone. Lots of information on the tragedy of the atomic bomb including personal accounts of his own family which was very interesting to hear. Very interesting stops at the elementary school and the peace park. A highlight of the tour was making origami peace cranes during our lunch stops and leaving these at the children monument at the peace park in recognition of the story behind the monument which Pancho explained to us and is also detailed in the museum. A really thought provoking day, presented in a very interesting but balanced way. Excellent communication before and during the day. Thank you so much for an excellent tour.
