“Spending a day with a friend”
Pancho is a wonderful guy. Not only is he knowledgeable as a guide but from the moment we met him in the hotel, it felt like he had been a long time friend. We had a lovely day on Miyajima and in the peace park. The stories he told were touching because they were personal stories. Thank you for the great day which we will treasure for a very long time! “Excellent Guide, Highly Recommend!”
Pancho was an expert and very personable guide. As a Hiroshima native, Pancho was not only very knowledgeable of the sites, history, context, and importance of the various places, but was also adept at conveying the mindset, outlooks, and inside perspectives – both as individuals and as a collective – of the people associated. Sensitive to our questions, interests and curiosities, Pancho graciously imparted native and nuanced insights into a variety of religious practices and thought, interesting educational idiosyncrasies, historical and current socio-political landscapes, and cross-generational opinions and perspectives – personal and familial. Pancho was also adept at engaging our teenage daughters with anecdotes and activities geared towards their age and interests – including a hands-on origami session.

(14 reviews)Dear Harold, First of all, thank you for joining the tour. It was my pleasure to guiding around Hiroshima/Miyajima-island with you and your family. I really enjoyed every moment during the tour too! I don't know how I explain my feeling for such a great comment to me, thank you. I really love being tour guide, that is not only welcoming guests all over the world(even mostly English speaking country), but also all of my life such as where I was born and bred in Hiroshima, family history, professional career in some company, as a son, as a father and aprtner of my wife, development of command of English, everything in my life is buiding up to now as a tour guide. I realized that from your comment. Yes, origami-session was also fun-moment, I'm glad to hear your daughters enjoyed. Thank you again, Pancho
