About Tour Guide Kazumi M.
Hi everyone.
I'm Kazumi. I am a qualified tour guide.I have been guiding Hiroshima since 2010.
Through guiding Hiroshima, I can give my guests my knowledge of this area and Japanese culture. At the same time, I can learn their understanding of Japan and the differences between our culture and theirs, which is very interesting. I also believe that meeting with local people is the best way to know the area. I was born and grew up in Hiroshima. I am very happy to give you wonderful time and memories in Hiroshima. I am really looking forward to hearing from you.

“Hiroshima History with Kazumi”
Kazumi was amazing! One of the best tour guides we've had while sailing on a Viking Ocean Cruise ship. She was very informative at all of our sites and was able to answer most questions. We spent a lot of time at the Peace Museum where she had more information than was given at certain points. We saw the big Torii gate in the sea. We weren[t able to visit the Itsukushima shrine becase of time constraints. She introduced us to Okonomiyaki (hiroshima soul food, layered pancake) for lunch. It was very good and quite an experience watching the counter workers chop up the veggies and egg in front of the customers. She speaks English very well and had been very thoughtful throughout the tour. I highly recommend!

“Kind and Warm - Highly recommended”
We had a great time spending the day in Hiroshima and Miyajima with Kazumi. She was very flexible with plans and organized a great day for my family, which included a 2 year old. She is a kind person, patient and soft spoken. She speaks fluent English and has lived in England and USA. We also really enjoyed the lunch option she chose for us, including a vegetarian meal for my family, and managing several allergies for my toddler. We really enjoyed her company and would gladly recommend her to any family considering a guide.

“One of the best tours I’ve ever experienced!”
Kazumi is rated as one of the best English speaking Hiroshima guides. There’s a reason— she is that good. Despite it being a miserable weather day, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing Hiroshima with Kazumi. We started our tour at the Peace Museum and she added personal commentary and stories to what we learned at the museum. We spent some time learning about the buildings that remained standing after the atomic blast and even went to the site where the bomb exploded. Next we had a delicious lunch, okonomiyaki, and then went to Miyajima · Itsukushima Shrine where we learned about the differences between shrines and temples. In every aspect of the day, Kazumi catered to our preferences. We avoided big crowds and she was infinitely patient as we took tons of pictures. She even took us back to the train station and made sure we got on the right train! The day was fantastic in spite of the weather and Kazumi was the reason. If you are able to book her for a personal tour, consider yourself lucky! We loved spending the day with Kazumi and could not recommend her more. Thank you.

Thank you for your wonderful comment. I am so happy that you enjoyed the tour although we had rain all day. I told my family about the story of finding me and they were so surprised and praised me. I will keep trying to make the guests happy and satisfied. Hope you enjoy the rest of your staying in Japan and safe back to Chicago. Thank you Kazumi
