Can you imagine that Daibutsu of Nara can be on the palm of Ushiku Daibutsu.
You can take an elevator up to the chest section of the inside, 85 meters above the ground. There are windows at every four directions.
Enjoy the panoramic view of Kanto plain, including lake Kasumigaura, Tokyo skytree and Mt. Fuji.

At the base of the statue is a huge garden of fresh blossoms symbolizing the Buddhist paradise?
After getting enlightened inside the Ushiku Daibutsu, it might be a good idea to go outside and enjoy the amiable monkey shows. He can show you severa tricks and acrobatic performances with the professional monkey trainers.

Hi, Thuy. Thank you very much for writing the review. I'm glad to hear that you had a good time. When you visit Japan again, don't hesitate to contact me. I wish I had more time to talk to Brandon and Amie. Give my best to your family. Take care. Yoshio Ogawa
Yoshio was a fantastic guide on our trip to Ushiku Daibutsu to see the Great Buddha... Yoshi organized to use his own car to make most of the journey after a train ride out to where he lives... This was mainly because we were a small group & had our 2yo daughter with us... I can't thank you enough Yoshi for personally driving us to see the Big Buddha statue... Our daughter was very tired from all the traveling getting to Japan so having our own car to relax in was awesome... We all really enjoyed our day which included taking the life up inside the Buddha... I can recommend Yoshio to anyone looking to make there way out to see the Big Buddha statue & the Ushiku Daidutsu area... Thanks you...
