There are many attractions, such as the Engakuji Temple Shariden, a national treasure building, the Hongjong bell, also a national treasure, and many other cultural assets.
Jochiji-temple
In addition to the hydrangeas and the famous round window, there are many other attractions on the temple grounds. The dry landscape garden in front of the main hall, the bamboo grove, and the thatched-roof Kaisando-Do (temple hall) are also very atmospheric. There is also the tomb of Hojo Tokiyori, the “Tsurube no Ii,” one of the ten wells in Kamakura, and the “Meigetsuin Yagura,” one of the largest yagura (graves of medieval warriors and monks dug in a hole in a rock wall) in Kamakura.

Jyokoumeiji-temple
It is one of the largest old wooden buildings in Kamakura and is designated as a National Important Cultural Property. The gate is also the largest gate of a temple in Kamakura. Climbing the hill at the back of the temple, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the Zaimokuza coast, the Inamuragasaki area, and Mt. Fuji in the distance. The temple grounds, which can be viewed at a leisurely pace, are decorated with many cherry trees in bloom in the spring.
Tusruokahachimangu-temple
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is said to offer various benefits such as “luck in victory, work, and success in life,” “easy childbirth,” and “marriage and good fortune. This is because there are several shrines enshrining various deities within the shrine's precincts. It is said to be a powerful power spot because if you visit all the shrines, you can obtain various blessings.
Komachi-street
It is a shopping street that starts right outside the East Exit of Kamakura Station and continues all the way to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. The small street is filled with the charm of Kamakura, and is lined with stores offering Japanese sweets such as green tea sweets and dango dumplings, seafood stores such as Shonan's specialty shirasu-don (whitebait rice bowl), and restaurants such as old private house cafes.

Hi, I’m Yoshie.
My hobby is traveling and I like to meet new people. Not only every part of Japan, I also traveled to many countries. Especially in Australia, I spent one year on a working holiday. I like to step into nature, and I also like to explore hidden gems in the town.
Japan has a long history of 2,000 years and has lived in a nature-oriented culture. As a local, I would like to share interesting Japanese culture with you. Join my tour, and let’s explore Japan's fascinating culture and beautiful sights together as a family!
I specialize in family-friendly tours, making sure that both parents and children have an enjoyable and memorable experience. As a mother, I know what kids love and enjoy in Japan. I want to show you and your family “Omotenashi”. This is Japanese hospitality. Be prepared for special little surprises for your children and yourselves. I want to show you the Japan that I know and love.
“Tsukiji Outer Market Tour”
Yoshie was an excellent guide. Her English was fluent and her knowledge of the market was very helpful and informative. We also very much appreciated that she made sure that we did not overpay and fall into many of the tourist traps that you can encounter at the market. This area can be incredibly overcrowded so having Yoshie with us was invaluable as we maneuvered our way around and as she highlighted the must see points of interest of the market. Overall, Yoshie was very pleasant and we would highly recommend her as a guide. Many thanks Yoshie for helping us enjoy our time in Tokyo!

Hi, Jaime! Thank you for writing me a review! It was a wonderful day with all of you!! We were so lucky to encounter bargain for end of the year and could had the best beef. Market events are just never let us feel bored and it’s always my favorite part of my job. When you visit Japan again please let me know:)
“A taste of Tokyo”
Yoshie was the perfect guide. She met us at our hotel with a little gift bag, and escorted us to the train station. She taught us how to get Suica card. Then she carefully guided us through the subway stations. She managed to keep our unwieldy group of 5 together. We got a bird’s eye view of the Tokyo tower, and the shrine, then walked through many streets and markets sampling food and souvenir shopping. We accidentally ran into a monkey show at the Shinto shrine. We were able to see a little bit of garden my the imperial palace. Yoshie guided us back through the metro and made sure we got on the right train and that we understood where to meet the next day.

Jori, thank you for writing reviews for me! It is my pressure to escort and guide you around Tokyo. And this Sensoji-temple tour was so lucky to see the monkey show from Nikko. The cute monkey show melted and soothed our hearts. It is an amazing memory with all of you!

Golden Route of major sightseeing spots in Kamakura
“An enjoyable day with Yoshie!”
We really appreciated our guide Yoshie. She met us at the train station and guided us through Kamakura. We traveled with my older parents, and she was very patient and kind to them. She took us to a delicious restaurant that was celebrating 100 years in business, and had food my parents would eat. We visited many shrines and she explained the history behind everything. My favorite spot on the tour was the fox shrine. My Mom and Husband washed money, so hopefully we’ll become rich. ;) We enjoyed spending time with Yoshie.

Jori, Thank you for writing reviews! It was a wonderful tour with your beautiful family, and I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed it. My favorite is Fox shrine, too! The moss-covered foxes and torii are showing their age, and one can feel the greatness of history and nature. I hope you will be rich! And please enjoy the last day at Disney!!
