Kamakura is a very healing city, which became the capital of Samurai at the end of the 12th century, and has a lot of temples where we can see lovely flowers.
We will ride a train for approximately an hour or so from Tokyo/Yokohama/Kawasaki area to visit there.
Appreciating the flowers, some temples and shrines, we can also enjoy the beautiful twilight seaview.
Check out what we are going to do.

About the shopping options, it is possible to visit the places after visiting the temples/shrines in the evening, because some stores of Komachi Street are opened till 19:00.

The hydrangeas are beautiful during the rainy season, so I'm giving a SPECIAL DISCOUNT now.
We will walk a lot, so please wear walking shoes like sneakers.
(If you don't want to, please tell me the places you'd like to visit and I will arrange it that way.)
In some temples, you're supposed to take off your shoes when getting in the buildings to keep the places clean, so please be ready for that.
It is optional, but I wish you would have Matcha, Japanese tea, at Joumyoji where we can appreciate it while looking at a Zen garden or at Tsuruoka Hachimangu.
There is also a place that you can make your own Matcha if you would like.
Kamakura is extremely crowded, so sometimes you might not be able to have a seat on the buses or trains.
If you would like all the options, it might take an extra hour. I love you to see the most of Kamakura, so about the extra hour, I would only ask for the necessary transportation fare.
Great day out visiting Mount Fuji. Yoko was very helpful with the booking and anticipating all needs prior to the tour. On the day, Yoko met us at the lobby of our hotel and off we went to see Mt Fuji! Great day with the weather on our side. Yoko was very knowledgable, thank you for sharing your experience with us! I was traveling with my 7 year old son, we both really enjoy the day out and everything went smoothly. If you want a personalised tour, go for it, it makes a huge difference with no hassle, great learning experience, worth everything. Yoko is very flexible. Merci beaucoup Yoko!
Ne de rien!! Thank you so much for such a great review, Sophie. The pleasure was mine that I could share the great view of Mount Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko. I enjoyed the conversation with you a lot about France, UK and yourself even the temperature difference seemed to be quite tough for Rye. I hope you and Rye remember how to do the origami of Kabuto, the samurai helmet. I will practice the frog based on the site you told me. I hope you're enjoying Kyoto and please enjoy the rest of your stay. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt!!
Yoko was an excellent tour guide. She devised a tour with our interests as well as “must sees” as a newbie to Japan. Yoko is extremely organized and knowledgeable. Our time with her was well spent. We learned a lot and would definitely recommend Yoko for an enjoyable tour of Tokyo.
Thank you for a wonderful review. I had a great day with both of you. When I see works of Yayoi Kusama, I will remember you and the wonderful conversations we had that day. Nikko is also an amazing place to visit for an art fan like you, so please come again. Thank you again!!
As stated in earlier review. Perfect guide for perfect trip
Thank you so much for your review, Mr. McGuire. It was a great pleasure for me to guide you, Kelly, Kirsten and Jordan, Tokyo, Nikko and Lake Kawaguchiko. All of you were so intelligent, beautiful and so sweet, so I had a great time during the three days. I'll be looking forward to seeing you coming back with them or your other grandchildren. Please take care till then. Thank you again for the wonderful days!!
We had a good day with Yoko exploring all aspects of our local surroundings as per an itinerary we had designed. The day was cold and eventually wet, but we continued through our itinerary despite the elements. It was a long day but we managed to see everything that we had set out to see and explore. Yoko was very knowledgeable and was able to provide the context details that made the journey more interesting.
Thank you very much for your review. It was too bad it started to rain but we dropped by to get umbrellas even though some of you didn't like to use them. I hope you could find something interesting at Sekaido and enjoyed your stay in Japan. Sakura (Cherry blossoms) are very beautiful in Spring, so please come to see them in the future. Please take care!!
