Safety is secured and you can go everywhere except the only small regulated area around Oowakudani(大涌谷）, which is not allowed to visit to avoid the possibility of eruption. All the Ropeway between Tougendai(桃源台) to Souunzan(早雲山) stop running now.
But you can visit various kinds of attractive facilities like hotspring, museums and parks. The abundant nature and the man-made architectures are beautifully harmonized.
The food and drink is so great after taking the open-air bath only 3 minutes' walk from the station!
You can enjoy shopping selecting wide variety of unique souvenirs around Hakone Yumoto.
